Webinar on Yoga

The art of practising yoga helps in controlling an individual's mind, body and soul. The benefits of yoga are endless. In the phase of the Covid-19 lockdown yoga has been a major source of rejuvenation and has helped people to stay fit physically and mentally.

Acknowledging the benefits of yoga, the Department of B.Com (Investment Management) celebrated the International Yoga day by organizing YOGUTSAV. On the first day of the Yogutsav was conducted a webinar.

The resource person for the session was Miss Ayushi Mahalwala, a M.A in Yoga and Yoga instructor for corporate and international wellness app, Takshuman. The webinar enlightened us on the importance of yoga and the ways in which it can be incorporated into daily lives. Miss Ayushi also conducted some live yoga practices. It was a great and interactive session.

Caputure Yourself

Celebrating the International Yoga Day with great enthusiasm, the department of B.com (Investment Management) conducted a event Caputure yourself on the second day of Yogutsav.

The participants had post picture of themself while practicing yoga poses on their Instagram story and tag us @bimtcsc with #bimyogutsav and we reposted the same on our official handle.

It was a nice way to celebrate yoga with everyone. It inspired the participants to practice yoga also inspiring others.

Yoga Quiz Bee

Recognizing the universal appeal of yoga and owing to it's benefits we contributed in spreading the word of yoga. Adding to the celebrations of Yogutsav, we conducted a quiz competition,Yoga Quiz Bee on the second day.

There were two rounds conducted. Participants were asked questions related to various yoga poses and yogis. They were also asked questions related to The International Day of Yoga.

It was a fun activity. Students showed active participation and gave prompt answers to the questions asked. It helped students test their knowledge and made further additions to their knowledge.
