Activities & Events Conducted in Academic Year 2025-2026



B.Com. (Entrepreneurship) Program has its curriculum explicitly designed for business visionaries to encourage critical thinking and foster their ambition through academically rigorous and practical learning experiences. It serves the needs of budding entrepreneurs by building an entrepreneurial mindset which will help them to identify potential business opportunities and create high impact ventures. Various activities were conducted for the budding entrepreneurs this year enabling them to envision, identify and develop innovative business ideas.



A Workshop on “The Real Secret of Becoming a Great Entrepreneur” was organised on 7th July, 2025. The Resource Person Mr. Abhay Tiwari, Business Training/ Coach Indicorns Business Consulting LLP and Startup Mentor, Mumbai provided insights and contemporary strategies to 35 aspiring entrepreneurs covering a broad spectrum of topics relevant to building and growing a business, offering practical guidance and actionable steps towards becoming a successful entrepreneur. Mr. Tiwari discussed various evolving business models, and the need to craft strategies to counter disruptive threats, drive aggressive growth, and build resilient businesses and innovative new ventures. He highlighted the need for meticulous knowledge pertaining to the specifics of the industry and discussed a host of relevant skills essential for entrepreneurs to navigate effectively through their individual roadmaps by harnessing the power of new technologies and networks. The participating entrepreneurs on the frontlines received constructive feedback for their business ideas from Mr. Abhay Tiwari who also shared various success stories making this workshop both inspiring and relatable.

 

  



“Business Idea Presentation” conducted on 12th July, 2025 for S.Y.B.Com. (Entrepreneurship) learners provided an opportunity to 26 learners to present their innovative high-impact ideas and business pitches to the Resource Person Mr. Manuraaj Garg, Chief Manager- SME, Emerging and Mid Corporates at Oxyzo Financial Services, Mumbai and a Business Mentor and Business Strategy Consultant. The participants pitched their self-venture ideas and presented their existing family business portfolios to the Resource Person who provided valuable feedback on its financial feasibility, scalability, and business strategy. He encouraged the participants to critically analyse the market gaps and cultivate transformational thinking across product innovation, business models, channel strategies, customer experience, digital acceleration, and sustainability while presenting their compelling business plans. This activity was undertaken under TCSC’s STEP (Skill and Talent Enhancement Programme) initiative.


               





A Workshop on “Advanced AI Business Tools” for 55 S.Y. and T.Y.B.Com. (Entrepreneurship) learners was organised on 25th July, 2025. This Experiential Workshop provided an opportunity to the learners to leverage cutting edge Artificial Intelligence (AI) Solutions to elevate productivity, decision-making and business communication. Resource Person Mr. Rituraj Bidwai, Performance Marketing Consultant and AI Specialist and Founder and CMO of Rituraj Bidwai Enterprises, Mumbai explored various effective artificial intelligence tools for the budding entrepreneurs to help them streamline their operations and accelerate growth. He demonstrated the usage of AI for market research, data analysis, pitch deck creation, business modelling and customer engagement. Mr. Bidwai elucidated the pivotal role of AI in enhancing information proliferation, data management, and algorithmic design within marketing domains. Live demonstrations allowed the participants to make data-informed decisions by providing hands-on examples of AI in action, visualizing real-time insights, and bridging the gap between raw data and actionable strategies. This activity was undertaken under TCSC’s STEP (Skill and Talent Enhancement Programme) initiative.


   




A PowerPoint Presentation Competition on the theme “Presenting the Past: Exploring the Indian Knowledge System (IKS)” was conducted on 13th August, 2025. Dr. Yogesh Sangani, Chief Investment Mentor at Chanakya Aanvikshiki Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai was invited to judge the competition which aimed to enhance the learners’ public speaking skills and holistic learning on IKS while offering timeless insights about its relevance in the contemporary world. A total of 35 participants explored diverse themes under the overarching topic including the “Role of IKS in fostering National Integration”, “Multidisciplinary Approach of Ancient Indian Education in fostering Innovation”, “Integrating IKS in todays’ Modern Education” and “IKS for Global futures, National Integrity and Individual well-being.”  The participants presented their well-researched presentations on IKS reflecting a deep understanding of its rich repository of wisdom and creativity to drive modern innovation and ethical entrepreneurship. The following were declared as the winners of the competition:

Field Visit to Yusuf Meherally Centre, Tara, Taluka Panvel, District Raigad, Karnala, Maharashtra was organised on 10th September, 2025 for 30 T.Y.B.Com. (Entrepreneurship) learners. The visit to this centre, which fosters sustainable rural development by empowering communities through education, self-reliance, and socio-economic initiatives helped the learners deepen their understanding of small-scale industries and environmental conservation. This enriching experience fostered a strong appreciation for sustainability, innovation and social entrepreneurship among the participants as they witnessed Yusuf Meherally Centre’s impact on rural and tribal communities across Maharashtra, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu and other states through its healthcare, education, livelihood and development programs. This activity was undertaken under TCSC’s CARRE (Connecting All to Respect and Recreate Environment) initiative.




An Experiential Learning Visit was organised to the Centre for Incubation and Business Acceleration (CIBA), Vashi, Navi Mumbai on 18th November, 2025 for 26 S.Y.B.Com. (Entrepreneurship) learners. This “Idea Validation Boot Camp” helped the learners to assess start-up ideas, evaluate the market opportunities, establish unique value propositions and evolve an initial start-up business plan. Visit to CIBA Incubation Centre was highly beneficial, offering a wealth of knowledge and networking opportunities for the aspiring entrepreneurs. The startup business development mentoring gained at CIBA by understanding the pitching process, product prototyping, and founder-meetings were instrumental in accelerating the learner’s entrepreneurial journey.




Workshop on “Smart Automation for Entrepreneurs” was conducted on 20th November, 2025 for 48 S.Y. and T.Y.B.Com. (Entrepreneurship) learners. Esteemed Resource Person Dr. Darshan Ingle, Principal Consultant at DataCouch, Sr. Data Scientist and Corporate Trainer, and Agentic AI and Model Chaining Expert, Mumbai explored automation business ideas that entrepreneurs should implement to reduce operational costs, drive profitability and operational excellence thereby taking the businesses to the next level. Dr. Ingle discussed at length about the AI Agents’ workflows which offers a scalable, intelligent foundation for boosting efficiency and drives long-term digital transformation. He further illustrated how start-ups can embark on using AI-powered tools across a wide range of activities, from marketing and customer service to logistics, finance and product design.


   





Educational Visit to Bollywood Park Filmcity and Whistling Woods International, Mumbai was organised on 29th November, 2025 for 22 T.Y.B.Com. (Entrepreneurship) learners. This visit was designed for the aspiring entertainment business leaders who want to transform their bold creative ideas into blockbuster products and services, and lead and inspire entertainment business organizational change by taking into account technological advancements. With special focus on helping the participants understand platform algorithms, community engagement, multiplatform monetization strategies, and brand partnerships, this visit also helped the learners expand their vision for managing and sustaining growth of the entertainment business ventures. 



“Business Coaching Session” for S.Y. and T.Y.B.Com. (Entrepreneurship) learners was conducted by the Resource Person Mr. Nikhil Srivastava, Strategic Business Advisor, Mumbai on 7th January, 2026. Mr. Srivastava gave the 45 participants a holistic view of business operations to build high-performing business frameworks and curate powerful strategies to drive innovation and boost profitable growth. He discussed in detail about the Business Model validation process, Market Positioning strategies, Startup Funding readiness, Scaling and Growth challenges, and Leadership and Decision-making in Entrepreneurship. This interactive session provided industry exposure and strategic business insights from an experienced mentor who shared his professional journey and practical experiences with the budding entrepreneurs.


              


Industrial Visit to “Wellness Aqua”, Packaged Drinking Water Industrial Unit, Panvel District Raigad, Maharashtra was organised on 5th February, 2026 for 25 T.Y.B.Com. (Entrepreneurship) learners to understand the operations at this facility which focuses on purification, hygienic bottling, quality assurance, and distribution within the FMCG industry. The learners observed the multi-stage water purification processes, laboratory testing protocols, safety compliance, automated bottling lines, and the robust distribution network at this facility. Through a guided tour, the learners understood how strategic frameworks matched by logistical brilliance and a strong distribution network can deliver sustainable competitive advantage that scales as the business expands. The participants’ keen observations and engagement with the managers and their technical teams reflected their strong entrepreneurial intent and analytical thinking.



Industrial Visit to Hjort Knudsen India Pvt. Ltd., a Furniture and Home Furnishings Manufacturing Industry, Taluka Khalapur, Vinegaon Raigad, Maharashtra was organised on 6th February, 2026 for 25 T.Y.B.Com. (Entrepreneurship) learners. The learners gained an experiential learning exposure to international-standard manufacturing facilities, enabling them to understand the end-to-end production processes, operational management systems, export business models, customer-centric customization strategies, and technology integration in the furniture industry. The visit commenced with a structured briefing by the management team, followed by a guided tour of the manufacturing facility and the warehouse. The experience significantly strengthened the learner’s entrepreneurial perspective as they understood how structured processes, operational discipline, innovation, and customer-centric approach drives sustainable business success across industries.
