Eligibility

Candidate shall have passed B.Com or any other field equivalent to Graduation from this University or any other university recognized by UGC and secured not less than 50% marks in aggregate at first attempt.


Duration of the Program

This Course shall consist of four Semesters (2 years) which includes 28 subjects with research projects & internship report.


Program Details

MCOM(ECOMMERCE) is a 2 years full time post graduate program affiliated to the University of Mumbai. It is most contemporary program offered at PG level by the University. The course attempt to expose students to the technicalities of ecommerce industry enabling them to understand how the industry work. The course imparts knowledge of website designing, digital marketing, DBMS, Network infrastructure designing, MIS, ERP, legal security in ecommerce etc. and has a good blend of Management subjects and equip students with the overview of Logistics and supply chain management, IF, Financial Management, Strategic Management etc. With sudden surge in online activities triggered by pandemic in recent times, students have a very bright prospect after doing this course.

The course makes it compulsory for students to complete internship and submit report of the same. Students get to explore their analytical mind through research and submit report in the last semester.


Bridge Course

To assist students with their smooth transition to this semi technical course and help them cope with computer subjects, a bridge course of 15 hours is conducted. The students are imparted knowledge of advance Excel; HTML.

Introduction to Digital Marketing: It is a free 30 hours course designed for the beginner in digital marketing. The course is conducted by senior students of mcom- ecommerce for any interested undergraduate students. Intake capacity for the same is 25.
