B.A. (Film TV & New Media Production) - Academics

Intake Capacity

The intake capacity for BA FTNMP (Films, Television & New Media Production) course is 60 students per Academic Year.


Eligibility

A candidate for being eligible for admission to FTNMP course must have passed the H.S.C (XII Std.) examination of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education or any other board examination recognized as equivalent thereto.


Duration of the Program

The course shall be a full time course. The duration of the course shall be six semesters spread over in 3 years.

Department Distinctiveness

Khajuraho International Film Festival: Khajurao International Film Festival founding principles centre on discovery, promotion and support of filmmaking of all genres – thus bringing together the diversity of the forms, aesthetics and contents. Students do manage the complete festival in KiFF from Production to Celebrity Management.

Cortokino: An International Short Film Festival that helps learners to explore their talents in various fields like Administration, Public Relations, Anchoring, Media, Production, Post Production, Celebrity Management etc.

Open Mic: Organised by the Music Club of BAFTNMP, in this event participants from all the departments participates and perform live songs with live music, poetry, storytelling.

Other than these we believe in Ground Zero Work so Industrial Visit, Shooting, Recee and other events like Photo-walk all are the part of syllabus.
