A candidate in order to be eligible for admission to the B.Com (Service Industry Management) degree course shall have passed the 12th Std. Examination conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with minimum 45%.
The course shall be a full time course. The duration of the course shall be of six semesters spread over 3 years.
B.Com (Service Industry Management) program is a 3-year Undergraduate Management program affiliated to the University of Mumbai. The aim of this program is to provide comprehensive understanding of service industry, its unique characteristics and challenges of particularly service oriented business spanning over hospitality, tourism, Healthcare , financial services and retail. The course also equips students with skills and techniques necessary to effectively manage and operate within various sectors of the service industry.
Apart from that, the course attempts to instil entrepreneurial attitude and aptitude among students who can bring innovative entrepreneurship in future.
