B. Sc. Aviation - Academics

Intake Capacity: 60 Students

Eligibility :

1. A candidate for being eligible for admission to B.Sc. (Aviation) must have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (Standard XII) examination conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary Education. Pune or an examination of any other Government recognized board as equivalent thereto, with the subject English, Physics and Mathematics
OR
1. A Candidate who has passed post SSC, Three year Engineering / Technology /diploma course with Mathematics and Physics.


2. A candidate is required to successfully carry out Class II MEDICAL EXAMINATION before commencing flying training.

3. For CPL Holders
    Valid current C P L with class I medical certificate from DGCA Medical centers.

Duration:

This Course shall be a full time course. The duration of the course will be 3 years.

Out of the Projects listed above, Four Projects will be allotted by the college during Semester VI. Students will only be required to study and submit these four projects. The projects are to be completed under the guidance of the teacher from the institute/ college/ any other related industry.


Scheme of Evaluation:

    1. First & Second Year
        Theory : 75 marks / paper External Assessment, 25 Marks / Paper Internal Assessment
        Flying Practical : 100 marks / Paper Internal assessment.
    2. Third Year
        Theory : 75 marks / paper University examination, 25 Marks / Paper Internal Assessment
        Flying Practical : 100 marks / External assessment.
    3. Project Work
        Semester-VI 100 Marks External Evaluation
