The Bachelor of Science in Finance and Analytics is a rigorous, future-forward, four-year undergraduate honours program crafted to develop highly skilled finance professionals for today’s digital economy. Designed in alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the program is delivered in collaboration with the Talent Skillsvarsity Private Limited  and Thakur College of Science and Commerce, ensuring academic excellence with strong industry integration.

This interdisciplinary course offers a unique blend of finance, data analytics, financial technology, and artificial intelligence, empowering students with practical knowledge and digital fluency. With a strong emphasis on experiential learning, students engage in real-world case studies, hands-on projects, capstone work, and industry internships, ensuring they are Day-0 job-ready.

Objectives

The main objectives of the course are:

  • To build a strong foundation in core financial principles and markets.
  • To enhance quantitative, analytical, and technological skills using tools like Python.
  • To provide experiential learning through projects, internships, and case studies.
  • To promote ethical, research-driven, and globally aligned financial practices.
  • To prepare students for diverse career paths in banking, fintech, consulting, and financial analytics.


Eligibility Criteria

  • Minimum 50% marks in Class XII or equivalent from Science /Commerce stream
  • Selection through entrance test and interview process.
  • Admission based on cumulative academic and selection performance.

  • Intake Capacity: 60 
  • Program begins: From Academic Year 2025-26
  • Level: Undergraduate (4 Years / 8 Semesters)


Syllabus

The program spans 8 semesters and includes:

  • Core Financial Subjects: Corporate Finance, Investment Analysis, Project Finance, Risk Management.
  • Skill Development: Business Ethics, FinTech Innovations, Data Visualization.
  • Professional Exposure: On-the-job training (OJT), Capstone Projects, MOOC Certifications.

  • Final Year includes full-time internship/OJT (22 credits)
