Their contributions are pivotal in crafting insurance policies, pension plans, and investment strategies, thereby fostering financial security and resilience for individuals and organizations alike.
Thakur College of Science and Commerce (TCSC) has been at the forefront of nurturing talent in this critical field through its Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Actuarial Science program. Over the past years, this self-financed three-year course has meticulously shaped students to excel in the intricate domain of actuarial science.
Commencing amidst the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, the program has recently celebrated a milestone with the successful graduation of its inaugural batch in 2023. TCSC takes immense pride in the accomplishments of its students, underscoring their remarkable achievements:
The inaugural batch achieved an outstanding placement rate of nearly 100%, with graduates securing lucrative positions boasting an average annual package exceeding 5 lakhs.
Demonstrating their commitment and proficiency, students collectively cleared a remarkable 37 actuarial exams from esteemed bodies such as the Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI) and the Institute and Faculties of Actuaries (IFOA) during their academic journey.
