The year 2021-22 operated on a hybrid mode. The department took up many activities related to careers, co curricular, social, student centric and importantly an International Conference to end the year.
A Guest Lecture on Financial Literacy was conducted on 12th July, 2021, addressed by Mr. Prahlad Tripathi (Founder & MD - Eton Advisors Pvt Ltd). A total pf 271 participants benefitted as the speaker guided them about Trading on Indices, Fibonacci Series, Trading in Commodity, Compounding.
To celebrate the Unity in Diversity of India, build awareness of our rich culture, our contribution to World’s progress and rekindle patriotic fervor in our youth, an Intra-Collegiate Quiz Competition on “Unity is Strength Knowledge is Power” was held on 12th July, 2021, with 640 Learners participating in the same.
Sanskriti Se Sanskar – A bonding between Kal Aaj Aur Kal an online activity was conducted from 23rd August, 2021 to 28th August 2021, with a view to inculcating value to respect elderly among youngsters. In this event participants uploaded photos, articles, poems, and quotes with/on their elderly i.e. Parent and Grandparents. 75 participants registered and uploaded content on Instagram page of the event.
A critical view activity “VIEW DEKE DEKHO” was organized on 27th September 2021. A total of 473 learners participated in it through google forms and presented their views on the Gender-Based Stereotypes of Bollywood.
5) An Environment Conservation Project: Set an Example, Lead the Way and Be the Change, was held 5th October 2021. A total of 34 learners created 3-D models of Art from Wastes available at their home.

Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi initiative, a PowerPoint Presentation Competition on Best Corporate Governance Practices adopted by different Companies was organized on 25th November 2021, with an aim to sensitize students to the concept of Corporate Governance and to enable students to identify how the companies grow and sustain through practicing Corporate Governance. A total of 80 learners participated in the competition.

A Health Awareness Campaign – Paryas, was held on 24th November,2021 at Samta Nagar BMC school wherein masks and sanitizers were distributed. 15 students of S.Y.B.Com along with 2 teachers of the Department Educated the school students about the importance of Hygiene and necessary precautions to be taken in COVID-19 pandemic
9) A One Day Industrial Visit for B.Com Learners to ‘Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust’ was organized on 10th December 2021 with 35 students specializing in Export Marketing. The aim of the visit was to familiarize learners with Export procedures and to make them aware of Custom formalities and various functions taking place at the Port.
10) A Guidance Lecture on UGC NET/SLET – JRF Exam was held on 13th December, 2021. Dr. Arpita Baijal [M.Com. (Honors.), UGC NET(JRF) guided on the requirements, needs, and importance of the Examination. A total of 42 learners attended the session.
11) A Collaborative course “Sales mark” with the Department of Botany was initiated on 12th January to 29th January,2022). The aim of the course was to teach the Marketing Skills, Culinary Skills and Food Preservation to the Students to add to their Employability. Total 80 learners from Degree College benefitted from the same.
12) A Guest Lecture on Gender Sensitization was held on 22nd January, 2022. 61 students actively Participated discussing the basic knowledge about Gender Sensitization. The session was further carried by a Debate between the Learners covering various topics related to Entrepreneurship
13) An Interactive Lecture on ‘Green Marketing’ was organized on 24th January, 2022. A total of 41 students actively Participated in the session which aimed at discussing the importance of Green Marketing in today’s Business Scenario.
14) In Collaboration with the Department of Statistics, a Certificate course “Metamorphosis”-A journey of Transformation, was conducted for the First Year Learners of Degree College. The course aims at Enhancing the Mental Aptitude and Developing the Cognitive Skills of Learners thereby Enhancing their Overall Personality. The course began on 31st January,2022
15) The Department of Commerce in Association with NAAC & ICSSR organized a One-Day Multidisciplinary International E-Conference on “Innovation and Sustainability -Revitalizing Business Practices through Quality Assurance and Inclusivity, on 18th February 2022. The Conference witnesses Planery Session and Paper Presentation in 9 parallel tracks the main aim of this Conference was to Assemble the finest mind to Delebrate and Discuss the Idea of this shift in Commerce and Management and also to discuss the Hybridity of the Market. The knowledge safari further explored ideas in Commerce and Management through paper presentations in 12 parallel tracks. TCSC is proud to receive Indian submissions and 5 International entries. A total of 70 Research Papers were presented.
16) A webinar titled “Career Guidance Session for Persons with Disability” in association with ADMIFMS-University of Mumbai, IQAC, University of Mumbai and Youth4Jobs Foundation was organized on 12th March, 2022. A total of 214 learners attended the session which focussed on partnering for an inclusive workplace. The Inaugural Session was graced by Ms. Meera Shenoy, Founder and CEO Youth4Jobs Foundation, Prof. Dr. Aruna Deshpande- ADMIFMS/ Dr Smita Shukla – Director-IQAC, Director-ADMIFMS, University of Mumbai, Dr. Sunil Patil, Director, Students Development and Dr. C.T. Chakraborty- Principal, Thakur College of Science and Commerce. During the Inaugural Ceremony the Dignitaries focused on promoting the role of Educational Institutions in creating an Equitable and Inclusive for all. The Panel Discussion was Graced by Members for the Business Fraternity where Mr. Abinash Mohapatra (Capgemini), Ms. Nisha Atey (Infosys Ltd.), Mr. Srinivas Manthripragada ( JP Morgan Chase & Co.), Ms. Varsha Agarwal (VMware) and Moderator Mr. Sravan Kumar. During the panel discussion solutions for partnering and co-creating inclusive workplace was discussed by all the panel members. The Enriching Session had Students and Teachers in attendance which stressed on Inclusive and Evolving Frameworks for Education and work with Creative and Innovation assisted by transparency.
17) A Webinar on ‘Digital Marketing 101’, addressed by Mr. Karan Shah (Edu-Preneur, TEDx Speaker, Founder, and CEO-IIDE) was organized on 15th March, 2022. Mr. Shah guided the Learners on the Changing Marketing Trends laying emphasis on Lead Generation. A total of 257 Learners attended the session.
18) A Guest Lecture on ‘Alumni Connect’ was addressed by our Three Alumni, Mr. Yash Sandeep Powle (Junior Associate – Bedi and Co. Associates), Mr. Anmole Malik who is associated with Amazon as a Global Sales Specialist, and Ms. Anaita Shetty (Graduate Teaching Assistant) The aim of this lecture was to Create Awareness among students of Commerce field about the various career opportunities available in the Indian and International Market after completing their Graduations. A total of 73 Learners attended the session conducted on 1st April,2022

Department of Economics since 1997 has been harbingering the need to elevate the economic quotient in the institution with a wide variety of activities, courses, engagements, and interactions. The following is the record of all the activities undertaken by the Department for the academic year 2021-2022.
The Department has successfully completed the Skilled-Based Courses on Advanced Excel and Ikigai of Money for undergraduate learners.
Annual Essay Writing Competition on the theme of World Population Day 2021 was organized on 11th July, 2021. A total of 13 participants submitted their views on population and impact of population on the economy.
Guest Lecture on “Cyber Warfare” was conducted in association with Department of M.Com (E-Commerce) on 30th July, 2021. The lecture was organized on background of Pegasus spyware issue. Resource Person Mr. Sachin Dedhia, Cyber Crime Specialist briefed the learners about the impact of Pegasus spyware hack and how to vigilant in the cyberspace. The event was organized on the theme of War and Terrorism with 135 participants being cyber secured.
A Quiz on the occasion of 75th Hiroshima Day on 8th August, 2021. The learners were sensitized about the need for promoting peace and curbing violence in any form. A total of 107 leaners participated in the event.

Career Guidance Lecture on “Market Research and Career Opportunities” was organized on 01st September, 202l. The speaker for the session was Mr. Aman Varma, Research Consultant, Kantar, Malaysia where he oriented the learners about market research and the prospective career choices in this field. The event organized in collaboration with EVS and FC saw a participation of 160 learners on the online mood.
Session on “Gender and New Media” was organized on 06th October, 2021with 198 participants in attendance. The session on cross cutting issue was to sensitize the learners about role of gender in media and need to promote gender equality in workplace and media representation. The event was an interdepartmental collaboration between Economics and EVS and FC and the Resource Person of the session was Mrs. Anita Sareen Parihar, Researcher and Media Practitioner.
Guest Lecture on theme of financial crisis was organized on 04th February, 2022. The session titled “An Enquiry into the Financial Crisis and Constraint Mechanism” with speaker Mr. Rajan Nandola, Senior Academic Head, Economics, Podar World College, Recognized Centre for University of London, London School of Economics. The session attended by 159 learners was aimed at breaking down the reasons leading upto a financial crisis and the Mr. Nandola specifically focused on 2007 Sub-Prime Crisis to dissect the anatomy of the crisis.
“Air Crash” is an adaptive and creative take on role playing competition, where the participants are part of an imaginary air crash with dignitaries from all walks of life fighting it out for last one parachute. The event was conducted on 28th February, 2020 on offline mode with another event Budget-O-Meter. The budget making activity of the department is titled “Budget-O-Meter” where the learners are taught the sounds skills of money management and financial decision making. This year the Budget-O-Meter was Both the events saw 21 participants in total.
Online Hands-On Training Programme on “Financial Literacy in Mutual Funds” in association with Finsafe India Private Limited was organized on 28th March, 2022. Trainer Ms. Soumya Anand who is a Financial Educator at Finsafe India Private Limited engaged in an elaborate session on mutual funds, deciding a portfolio and spread awareness about various mutual funds schemes. The session trained 169 learners in total.

1) Departmental Activity Report 2021-2022 (w.e.f. 18-11-2021 onwards)
The Department imparts holistic knowledge of law and mould students to be competent legal professionals, committed to the cause of community development through sustained academic activities and research thereby promoting empowerment through legal education for building an ethical society. It provides a pragmatic approach towards legal education and legal practice to enable its students to meet the ever increasing demand of the legal profession. The Department aims at developing conceptual and practical skills of students and helps to convert the abilities of students into legal and managerial competence which is the need of the hour. We strongly believe that a blend of relevant knowledge, skills and right attitude is essential for overall development of students which will determine their growth and success in the legal field.
Celebration of Constitution Day of India on 26th November, 2021 as a part of 75th year of Independence as “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav” and to commemorate the day of adoption of our Constitution, the occasion of Samvidhan Diwas (Constitution Day) as per the letter received from University Grants Commission Secretary Prof. Rajnish Jain letter dated. 25th November, 2021. On this auspicious occasion, a short lecture was presented to all the respective departments and Learner’s group of Degree College for the purpose of active participation in the above said activity and to create awareness among the citizens and its relevance in the life of citizens which plays a vital role. It also enshrined towards the contribution of framers of the constitution and to aggravate the people regarding the prominent values.
On 23rd December, 2021, a session on Career Guidance Guest Lecture conducted wherein depicting the significance in law after graduation was conducted by Mrs.Sujata Angadi, Corporate Legal Professional practising in the field of Corporate Law, Co-managing and founder partner of Legal firm named “Law Veritas”. She explained the accelerated growth and development prospects of law in India and also enunciated the qualification with relevant entrance examination for the purpose of pursuing practical law with a prominent career which may lead to success in law.
Equal Opportunity Cell also organized an Online Webinar with the Department of Law on “The Role of Digitalization on Employment and Economic Growth” dated 25th February, 2022 wherein the use of digital technologies to change a business model & provide a new revenue and value producing opportunities. The Department of Law also emphasised on the basic idea of digitalization to make full use of ICT facilities for accessing worldwide resources and beneficial for society at the same time.

DEPARTMENTAL ACTIVITY REPORT
A webinar Namely “Green Initiatives for Healthy Life” was organized on 14.7.2021. Dr. Rashmi Joshi (Environment Consultant Mumbai) was the Resource person. Total 186 learners participated in that webinar. Dr. Joshi mainly focused on the Initiative which can be taken to start a healthy life by giving a quote- “Your Health is an Investment, not an expense.”
One day skill Development Workshop on “Pitch Deck and Business Model Canvas Development” was organized on 14.7.2021 in collaboration with “Bhartiya Skill Development University, Jaipur” with Department of Management studies. The speaker was Mr. Purandar Sengupta. He is a Certified Master Trainer, Impanelled master of Startup India under DIIPT, Govt. of India. 111 learners had attended the webinar. The speaker mainly talked about how Govt. of India is helping young generation for setting up their Start-Up business.
A webinar on “National Integration – Ek Bharat…. Nek Bharat” was organized on 14.8.2021. The resource person was Col. Utkarsh Rathod (founder member of Maratha Sanctuary) & 132 learners attended the webinar. The session commenced with the concept of nation and understanding the peculiar features of the nation, Cultural Aspect of the nation, geographical boundaries and many more.
A Value Education Session was organised titled - “Youth of India- Confident or Confused ?” All together 270 learners had participated in this session on 26.8.2021. The webinar was addressed by the prominent speaker and motivation coach Pitavarna Nimai Das (Administrator in ISKCON, International Preacher & Motivational speaker). The session was commenced by the holy sloka of Vedas, Mr. Das explored the concept of happiness and self-satisfaction. The speaker also explained the thoughts of different great personalities like Swami Vivekanand, Lord Krishna, etc., and pointed out the role of youth in nation formation.
“FINSCOOP-21” an Annual Inter- Collegiate Competition was organised was on 22nd & 23rd September 2021. Total 176 learners participated in this competition from different states across India. This competition had 2 stages. The 1st round was Quiz & 2nd Round was Elocution. The First Place was bagged by G. Harini & Aswitha V.S. from Madhuri Kesari Jain College, Tamil Nadu.
A Quiz competition titled “Diwali Trivia” was organised on 3rd November 2021 for degree learners. Total 176 learners participated in this Quiz competition. All question related to Diwali & reason for celebrating Diwali was asked to the learners.
A Webinar on “Understanding Gender” was organised in collaboration with B.com (IA) on 3rd December 2021 attended by 190 learners. The Guest speaker was Mrs. Madhvinee Namjoshi (Director of PUKAR Foundation, TISS)). The session was started with the objective of understanding gender that due to cultural norms how people have accepted costume and style define human gender, where in reality female and male has their different physical appearances.
A Financial Literacy Awareness Program was started Under the guidelines of UGC (D.O.No.21-82/2021(CPP-II)) from 13th December 2021 to 13th March 2022. The main purpose behind this awareness program is to make investor aware about different types of frauds which are there in the market. Through this program people were informed how they can invest their money without asking of without consulting any agent. They were informed about different investment avenues and different mode of investment and steps to choose investment instruments. Which factors they should consider for investment decision.

Orientation/Guidance Program for National Accounting Talent Search 2021-22was organised for the learners who had flair to pursue career in Accountancy, to get them acquainted with the paper pattern, syllabus and other exam details. The program was conducted on zoom. The session was witnessed by 17 participants and it was organised on 23rd December 2021.
An Orientation session on “The ICAI Commerce Wizard” was organised for degree commerce learners as well as for Junior college learners of A.Y. 2021 – 22 on 3rd January 2022. Total 68 learners attended the session. The Orientation was completely intended to spread awareness among learners about The “ICAI – THE COMMERCE WIZARD 2021”.
“Democratic Budget” – A discussion session was organised on 10th February 2022 & it is attended by 105 learners. This discussion forum was an initiative taken by Department where students were encouraged to prepare for a particulars Budget and they were supposed to present it. It helped students a lot in respects of self practice & to gain confidence for presenting themselves in front of audience.
The workshop on E – filing of Income Tax Return (ITR) was organised on 16th February 2022 for Third Year learners. The workshop was attended by 113 learners & addressed by Faculty members from the department. The principal objective was to provide hands-on training to learners and assimilation of class theories with practical of competitive world. The workshop consists of three sessions.
A Guidance session on Careers in Law was organised in collaboration with Department of Law for undergraduate and postgraduate learners on 26th March 2022. The session was attended by 103 learners. Dr. Hussain Ali Datto (Head, Department of Law) addressed the learners w.r.t scope and extent in Law and upcoming opportunities. The session was oriented to explore and guide learners with multiple options available in the field of law.
An Essay writing competition was organised for Celebrating National Integration Day from 28th February 2022 to 5th March 2022. Learners were allowed to write an essay in all 22 languages which are mentioned in Constitution of India. Total 88 learners participated in this competition.
A webinar on “Climate Change & Global Warming” was organised on 4th March 2022. Dr. Girish Raut (Worked as a Secretary, Shivaji Dakshta Samiti) addressed the session which was attended by 283 learners related to rising global temperatures which are devastating weather with adverse effect on economic and societies. He talked about the reasons of climate changing like, Deforestation, Pollution etc, where due to this harvest are suffering more. He further added how these things are affecting India’s trade also it increases land and sea temperature.
Department of Accountancy in Collaboration with Department of Bachelor of Banking & Insurance, Bachelor of Financial Management, Bachelor of Investment Management & B.com (Hons.) had organised a Guest Lecture on “Gender Violence & Women’s Movement : A Feminist Perspective” on 28th March 2022. Total 197 learners had participated in this session. The Speaker was Dr. E. Rati Rao (retired scientist). The speaker began with the current scenario of gender disparities root causes for the same like patriarchal society, lack of education, Lack of exclusive and fast track law, No financial independence, Impact of Globalization and Liberalization after LPG in 1991, Influences of communism, Capitalism and Socialism, Dress codes, Social Boycott etc.
A yoga session for girls students was organised on 8th March 2022. The objective of session was to introduce basic yoga asanas starting with Warmup exercise, followed by Bridge pose, Mountain pose, Bhujang asana, Matsya asana, Vraja asana, breathing exercise (Suryabhedan, Chandrabhedan, kapaalbhaati ), closure with OM chanting. There was 30 Female participants for this session.
A Quiz Competition Titled “Quizzical Suspects” was organised on 14th March 2022 for the learners. 50 learners participated in this Quiz Competition. All Questions related to CA Foundation were asked in this Competition to check the knowledge of the learners in fun way. The questions were related to Maths, Economics, Accounts & Logical Questions.
Aconte-22 is an Annual Activity of Department of Accountancy, celebrated every year. It is an Intra & Inter Collegiate Activity consisting of 4 Activities. Total registrations were 231. This Event was organized on 17th March 2022.

A Webinar on “Academics in Life with Purposefulness” organized for degree learners on 9th April 2022. This session was attended by 231 participants. CA Arvind Tripathi (Finance Controller for leading MNC) addressed the session, being a chartered accountant, he has observed that a good purposeful career gives us good result. He discussed that students should focus on their purpose in academic along with their passion.
A Webinar on Skill India (PM Program) – Skill Courses & It’s Benefits was organized on 12th April 2022, The Guest speaker was Dr. Raina Champawat (Academic Director at Skill Development & Vocational Institute of India). Approximately 110 learners attended the session. The speaker mainly talks about the skill courses which are provided by the Govt. of India at free of cost and how learners can get the benefit of it. In this session she also explained learners how to identify the skill which they have and how it can be converted into a Profession of any person.
A Save Water campaign was organised on 12th April 2022 as a part of social outreach initiative in the area of Singh estate road no 1 to 5. The theme of the campaign drive is to spread awareness among residents, discuss with them their issues w.r.t water scarcity, methods and means to reuse and recycle the water and minimize their daily use, and how to use water effectively and efficiently. Our learners help the resident with various techniques to utilize water up to the optimum level.

English Literary Association [Department of Business Communication] endeavors to offer our learners various opportunities to accomplish their Goals in life, leading to Success. ELA aims for the Holistic Development of the learners and to help them achieve English Language Proficiency through participation in a series of activities.
ALUMNI CONNECT
ELA organised an Informative Webinar on “HOW TO ACE A JOB INTERVIEW” for the Degree College learners on 6th October 2021. Ms. Preethi Chandramouli, Senior Consultant, Risk & Financial Advisory, Deloitte - Houston, USA an Alumnus was the Resource Person. She enlightened the learners about the significance of proper preparations for acing a Job Interview. She also shared her insights and experiences of successfully facing interviews with the participants. Ms. Chandramouli made the session stimulating and animated by connecting with the learners and answering their various queries.
“SCRIPT ENTERPRISE”
An Essay Writing Competition that offers the learners an opportunity to express their opinions on various topics. This intellectual enterprise is one of the many activities organized to help learners in their pursuit of excellence. To expand their knowledge and motivate them to share view points on current affairs topics:

TCSC ELA initiated an Informative and Need of the Hour Awareness Drive on one the most perilous threat of ALCOHOL & DRUG ABUSE AMONGST THE YOUTH. The ENGLISH LITERARY ASSOCIATION In collaboration with Department of LAW organized an Online Quiz Competition on NATIONAL PRODUCTIVITY DAY on 12th February 2022 for all Degree College Learners. The goal was to generate awareness amongst the learners regarding various aspects of National Productivity Day in India.
ENGLISH LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY TEST
ELPT was organized by the Department of Business Communication in collaboration with Department of Bio – Technology on 26th February 2022. It was to test the level English Proficiency of TCSC learners and also help them learn the Global Language better.
SOFT SKILLS WEBINAR
A session on Soft Skills for all the Degree College learners was organised by the Dept. of Business Communication in collaboration with the Dept. of BBI On 7th March 2022. Ms. Tulika Sinha, the Trainer, a very Engaging Session on “IMPORTANCE OF SOFT SKILLS FOR PROFESSIONAL SUCCESS” for all the learners. TCSC, ELA organised a Corporate Discourse Webinar on 4th April 2022. The Resource Person, Ms. Rayana Pandey, Corporate Trainer & Founder of Mobius Strip Productions, spoke about various aspects and significance of “Public Relations” in the contemporary times. She also guided the learners regarding PR as a career and the different opportunities available for them to pursue from career point of view. It was an illuminating & interactive session enjoyed by all the participants and their queries were answered.

A National Level Inter Collegiate Literary Fest was organized on 8th & 9th April 2022 by ELA. 164 passionate learners from various Colleges across India participated in variety of competitions like Quiz, Debate, Elocution, Presentation, Short Story and Essay Writing.
Ms Meena Mishra, Author & Publisher presided as the Chief Guest. She inspired all by her encouraging words of wisdom. She also motivated the upcoming poets, novelist etc. to pursue their passion of writing and promised to help them publish their writing. Promising and Gifted participants, Eminent judges from various fields made CONNEXION 22, a Grand Success across borders. Awareness Drive for Eco-friendly Diwali was conducted on the zoom platform on 1st November 2021 at 9.00 am.

Street play on the theme “avoiding the use of single-use plastics” was organized on the occasion of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav on Wednesday, 22nd December 2022 at 10.30 am on the college quadrangle.
Debate competition was held on 22nd January 2022 at 4 pm on the zoom platform. The theme of the debate is “avoiding the use of single-use plastics”.
Ecological awareness and donation drive was held on 3rd April 2022 at Sanjay Gandhi National Park at Navapada Hamlet. Total 50 students from FYBCom participated in the activity.
Masterminds – An online Live Quiz was hosted on 16th and 17th July. The total number of participants was around 100.
Guest Lecture was conducted on 1st September 2021at 11.00am. The speaker was Mr. Aman Verma (Research Consultant, Kantar). Around 160 learners participated in the event. The theme of the guest lecture was “What is Market Research and Career Opportunities in it?”
Elocution competition was held on the 5th of October, 2021 on occasion of Gandhi Jayanti and theme of the event was Swachh Bharat Abhiyan”. Students prepared on the topics such as i) Role of citizens in clean India Mission, ii) Role of government in planning cleanliness mission, iii) importance of awareness drive and it’s implementation with regard to Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, iv) Any other topic related to the main theme. Ms. Denise D’Souza was the judge for the event. The total number of participants was 21.
Awareness Drive for Eco-friendly Diwali was conducted on 1st November 2021 at 9.00am on zoom platform. Students’ were shown videos and motivated on the ways to celebrate diwali in eco friendly manner.
Poster and slogan competition was organised on 30th November 2021 on the theme Avoidance of single use plastics on occasion of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. Total 31 participants presented their posters and 26 their slogans for the event. The judges for the events were Dr. Neeta Jain and Ms. Sneha P.
Guest Lecture was conducted on 4th December 2021 at 10am via zoom platform. The speaker was Ms. Mamta Pandya. The theme of the session was Value education. She spoke on meditation and art of living. The session also had 10 minutes meditation session. Around 180 learners attended the session.
Street play was organised on occasion of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav on Wednesday, 22ns December 2022 at 10.30am on college quadrangle. The theme of the play was “avoiding the use of single use plastics”. Students from Fy and Sys participated in the event.
Debate competition was held on 22nd December 2021 at 4pm on zoom platform. The total number of participants was 44 participants. The theme of the debate is “avoiding the use of single use plastics”. Students prepared on topics in favour and against the topics such as i) The ban of plastic bags helps in protecting the environment. ii) Plastic waste is not a waste. iii) The food industry should stop producing single use plastic bottles. The time alloted for the candidates was 4+1. Medium of competition English. The judges for the event were Mrs. Lata Singh and Mrs. Rumpa Sanpui.
Essay competition was organised on 5th March 2022. The topic was National Integration. Total 103 students participated in the event. Medium of language was English.
Environmental awareness and donation drive was organises on 3rd April 2022 at Sanjay Gandhi National park, Borivali (E). Mr Samarth Parab, Manager at NIC, guided our FYBCom Students on environmental awareness and opportunities in internship programmes related to environmental programmes. Total 50 students participated in the donation drive by donating foodgrains, clothes and books to the tribal people at Navapada btribal hamlet at the park. The students had their breakfast at the hamlet itself. The students had collected Rs. 200 each for this activity. Dr. Priti Gupta alomg with Dr. Prajakta Jadhav, Pratik Singh and Rumpa Sanpui accompanied the students in this activity.
Guidance session on competitive examinations was organised by the department on 13th April 2022 online on Zoom platform at 6pm for the students of degree College.
Total 68 students participated in the session. The session was led by Mr. Nitin Parihar, Marketing Officer, Government of India. He spoke on the way to civil services and methods of preparing for the same. The programme ended with questions and answers session, in which many of the doubts of the students were cleared. Mr. Pratik Singh hosted the event.
