B.Com (Digital Business) Program was introduced from the Academic Year 2022-2033 with Curriculum designed with view to provide insights into modern business aspects, which will help learners to transform their traditional business to modern business & converting business ideas into startup ventures with the help of digital platform. Curriculum provides an opportunity to learners to Learn the practical aspect of Digital Business with help of Industry Experts support in enriching learning experience with practical learning with Internship & live projects.
Activity: Visit to IIDE & Guest Lecture on “World of Digital Business”

A total of 52 Learners of department were visited IIDE Andheri Campus on 9th November 2022. The Founder of IIDE, Mr. Karan Shah gave lecture on “World of Digital Business”, which gave insights into the real-world business scenario of Digital Business. The learner also got chance to visit the IIDE campus to learn the various aspects of modern business. The success story of Mr. Karan Shah, inspired the learners that success can be achieved at young age with dedication & hard work.

The Department B. Com (Digital Business) in association with Department of Management Studies (BMS) organized a workshop on “Rebranding Online Image – Professional Outlook to LinkedIn Profile” on 14th December, 2022. The resource person Mr. Jay Dattani, Mentor & Trainer, IIDE, Mumbai shared the enriching experience on how to prepare Professional LinkedIn Profile, the various aspects to be taken into consideration, Do’s & Don’ts of maintain & updating the profile. The live training helped the learners to gets hands on training to manage their LinkedIn profile. A total of 70 Learners attended the session with a keen interest to give their profile a professional touch.

Online Guest Lecture on “Creatively Targeting People using Data” was conducted on 17th December 2022 with 52 Learners of the Department. Mr. Omkar Darekar, Deputy General Manager, Acquisition & Marketing, Portar was invited as Guest Speaker for interactive session. The engaging session gave detail overview of how to use data creatively to target market. Mr. Darekar shared how to solve the real business problems with the help of data, importance of data in business from analysis to make strategy to achieve success.

Total 48 learners attended the session with objective of finding various career opportunities in Digital Business World, with focus on changing trends in digital business world & avenues evaluation. The speaker of the session Ms. Rashi Shah, Placement Head of IIDE spoke about various Careers that learners can build in the of Digital Business.

A total 20 teams participated enthusiastically in this competition. The PPT Presentation were highlighted the contribution of Un sung Heroes of Indian Freedom Movement.
