This
event is a fresher’s party held on 5th August, 2016 in auditorium of
the college for all the FY learners of the BAF department. The fest is
named as ‘Jashn’ in which the themewas ‘party-La Fiesta’. Since the
theme was MEXICAN- FIESTA everyone was to wear Mexican clothes and all
the creative team made wonderful cactusand piñatas (means best wishes),
flowers and different scrolls for the invitation to our honorable
trustee, teachers and our students. Along with the theme we also spread
the social message of GO GREEN, all the décor and products were with the
idea of ‘best out of waste’ i.e. recycling old products. Not only the
junior but also our EX TYS and ALUMNI Zaid Siddique, Sushank Sheth,
Bhoomika Shetty, Rushabh , Hardik Shetty, Shiva, Prajwal Shetty, Anam
Abdul, DhwaniJaini, Raksha Shetty, Shaheera Khan and Hitesh Vishwakarma
were also welcomed.
The
SYBAF 123 students of BAF department went for an educational day out on
24th January, 2017 to the RBI museum. It consisted of ancient coins and
currency notes which at the present stage are nowhere to be seen or
used. This Indian money museum in Mumbai is located at Fort area which
is known as one of the oldest commercial hub of city. Due to security
reasons students were not allowed to click photographs inside the
museum. Types of Coins on display were: Since AD 330 to 370, Coin
collection is huge. Varieties of Historic coins made of pure Gold,
Silver, Bronze, Brass, Copper, Nickel and more. Rare collections like 8
mm Diameter coin called ‘Fanam’ were also on display. It turned out to
be a very informative and memorable visit of all.
The
MANTRA is flagship event of BAF organized by department of BAF. There
were students from 16 colleges all around Mumbai. There were 406
students and even faculties from other colleges Along with students from
different departments of our own college and our own faculties, the
seminar held on 5th Jan. 2017. CA Dushyant Bhatt was present in our
college to speak on GST i.e. Goods and Service Tax. He is a partner in
Mehta Chokshi and Shah, he has specialized in indirect tax [VAT and
Service Tax.] and is a member of WIRC of ICAI, BCAS and CITC. It was
followed by a very motivational session by Mr. Sriram Athri on “stay
healthy with healthy mind”. He is a priest in PRASANNA TRUST by Swami
Sukhabodhananda and runs an orphanage for Girl Child. He had come in our
college to speak about self-harm.
This
event was held on23rd February 2017 in the auditorium of the college.
This event is a farewell party for all the seniors of the batch, this
fest is named as FIFO which had a party theme of -OSCARS NIGHT, where
everybody was made to wear classy and elegant attires andbid a royal
farewell to the college. This event flowed with the national anthem
followed by welcome dance, second and third year performing dances and
fashion shows along with students getting felicitated, appreciated and
addressed by all the teachers and HOD for their respective academic year
achievements.
We
went On receiving permission, students of BAF & BBI with three
faculty members namely Dr. Nishikant Jha, Mr. Nirav Goda and CA Kritika
Jhawar went on an industrial visit for 9 days dated 6th January 2017 to
14th January 2017 to Amritsar, Chandigarh and Manali.
