Event: MANTRA

Date :24th September, 2022

Speaker :1.  CS Chetan Gandhi (CS, MA in Leadership Science, LLM, Diploma in IT Laws, Certified Practitioner in Neuro Linguistic Programming)

2.Mr Sachin Dedia. (Certified Ethical Hacker (EC Council – USA), Cyber Crime Investigator, Ethical Hacking , Cyber Crime Investigations & Digital Forensics)


The sessions were on helping students know about CS course & on Cyber Security. CS Chetan Gandhi spoke on CS as a career, exam structure of CS Course, and what is the relevance of a CS in a company, opportunities as a Company Secretary. This was followed by, the speaker. Sachin Dedia spoke on how we need to protect our devices from viruses , he explained on different types of viruses and their features, how to identify these virus, and  on data privacy and data protection.





Event : Career Guidance

Jinesh Shah  Shah ( Phd, M.phil ,M.com , ICAI Member, Academician, Mentor, Counsellor, Professional specialties  in Business Valuation Services including Cost Allocation & Inventory Management, Financial Statement Analysis/Modelling for the Manufacturing Industry, Risk Assessment Consulting services)

Department of BAF organised a session for its FY Learners on the topic “Career Guidance”. The session was conducted for FY students with an objective to assist them in choosing a proper career at this initial stage of their life . The importance were given to professional courses.





Event : GST Workshop 2022

Date : 18th August, 2022

The GST workshop was conducted by TYBAF to equip FY and SY students and students of Junior college with enough knowledge about its basics, impacts, amendments, and composition. Approx there were 708 participants. The workshop turned out to be bit more interesting due to models and quiz



Event : MUN (MODEL UNESCO YOUTH SUMMIT) 2022

Date : 27th August, 2022

Venue : Room no 619

Department of BAF organised MUN (MODEL UNESCO YOUTH SUMMIT) Competition  2022. Model United Nations (MUN) simulations are popular exercises for those interested in learning more about the UN. The Chairperson for the event was Dr. Richa Banerjee, Assistant professor (TCSC). Different States of India, were allotted to each team, and the topic was Gender Equity. The teams had to give a gist about the Gender Equity conditions and measures in their own State followed by Q&A.

Event : CA as a Career and growing Opportunities.

Date: 6th December, 2022

Speaker : CA RINKLE GORWARA, ( B.Com, FCA, CSR Certified ICAI, Sole proprietor of  “Rinkle and Associates”, gold medalist in Advanced and Management Auditing).

A session was organised by Department of BAF & Junior college accounts department in collaboration with WIRC – ICAI for junior college students. This session was conducted to enable the students to understand the importance of professional education and How CA course shall help them in their professional growth. This initiative was to help students decide upon the career line and get a clear idea of it . Approximately 170 students attended this session. 


Event : Value Education- Personality Development

Date : 10th September 2022

Speaker :Mrs. Sharmishta Ranade (Post Graduate in Advertising and Communication Management , SIBM Pune, Family Constellation  Therapist, Internationally certified You can heal your life Coach, Leadership transformation facilitator).

Department of BAF in Collaboration with WIRC – ICSI had organised a session for its First Year learners on the topic “Value Education- Personality Development”. The objective of this session was to motivated the students to be optimistic in life and face all that comes in life positively. The speaker spoke on having gratitude towards everything and shared her experiences and how she overcame all the obstacles that came by with positive attitude. 







11-day industrial visit of TYBAF students

Departmet of BAF had organised an 11-day Industrial Visit to Chandigarh, Shimla, Manali and Amritsar from 18th December, 2022 to 28th December, 2022. 24 students had ben to industrial visit. Students were taken to Milestone Gear Manufacturing Factory in Kalka, Haryana, where  students could observe various manufacturing procedures involved in the production. Students also interacted with the owner of the company from whom students could get insights about company’s cost structure, product pricing and profits. Students also visited  Shree Sai Shawl Factory in Kullu. There the students could closely observe how shawls were handcrafted. They also discussed the aspects such as costing and marketing of the woollen products with the staff at the factory

Kufri Zoological Park, Hadimba Mata temple, Himalayan Nyinmapa Buddhist Monestry, Atal Tunnel, Jalianwala Bagh, Wagha Border, Golden Temple were some other places where the students visited.


 







Event : NGO Wall Painting

Date : 26th September 2022

BAF students painted the walls of a NGO Named “CHILD HELP FOUNDATION” located at Mira Road (Mumbai). It was an outreach activity conducted by Department of BAF  The activity was led by : Darshan Sonani (CL) (TYBAF –B), Tushika Kapoor (SYBAF- C), Umang More (SYBAF-C). 

Students involved : Tushika kapoor(SYBAF-C), Umang More (SYBAF-C), Pranav Singh (SYBAF-D), Sanvi Patil (FYBAF-B), Anjali Purohit (FYBAF-B), Anjali Sharma (FYBAF-B), Prapti Yadav (FYBAF-B), Grishma Sakpal (FYBAF-A),Diya Pandey (FYBAF-B).









Event : Tree Plantation Drive

Date : 1st December 2022

Department of BAF, took an  initiative for social work activity- Tree Plantation,  this plantation activity was held at Arrey Colony, Kandivali (E), with all proper required permissions. Students dedicatedly worked for this social cause. The students cleaned the place, planted the trees and arranged the stones in proper order so as to prevent soil erosion. 









Event : Battle of Budget

Date: 13th February 2023

BAF Department organized event of State Budget Presentation Competition. The event discovered overwhelming participation from the students in respect of the union budget for their respective states and the changes demanded by them. The delegates were supposed to adjust the budget according to their vision and mission for the growth of their state. Keeping in mind the scenario, every delegate brought out eye-catchy issues and their feasible solutions. They appreciably proposed their view of the required budget modifications they want in their peculiar ministry of the state.

Event : MUN 23

Date: 13th February 2023

MUN- the word itself lets people think of the glorious moments while they are presenting themselves as a state of India and exploring the provided rights to their state citizens. The theme for the event was Gender Issues.  Mr. Sharad Pasale was the Judge of the event (Asst Professor TCSC). . The event not only helped the students grab the utmost knowledge of the country's steps toward gender equality, but also an insight into varied measures taken by state governments

Winners: : CM of Sikkim (1st place), CM of West Bengal (2nd place) and CM of Goa, CM of Maharashtra (3rd place). The best delegate goes to the CM of Haryana, the best speaker was Preksha Joshi (CM of West Bengal). Special mention for solutions went to the CM of Gujarat

Event : Financial Literacy

Date: 13th March 2023

Speaker : Mr. Akshay Soni (Owner- Soni Associates)

Financial literacy for Young Investors organized by the department of B.Com (A&F) , the session was related to financial planning, Investment awareness and safety,  financial planning in the current era, best investment avenues, Stock Market, Mutual Fund and Commodity market and their pricing system. Comparison of Exchange investment with Offline investment. As he had focused on financial planning he also stated about grievance mechanism and Security Exchange Board of India (SEBI) rules to support investors.
