Guest Lecture

Know Your Finance : On 3rd August, 2016 department had organized an informative session on the topic “KNOW YOUR FINANCE – A Gateway to Financial Management”, which was guided by Mr. Vishal Gada (Director- Ambition Learning Solutions) and Ms. Shruti Deshpande (Alumni).

Workshop

On 22nd July, 2016 The BBI Department got an opportunity to conduct a one day workshop on Revised Syllabus and Paper Pattern of FYBBI (Semester-I & II) in association with ADHOC-Board of Studies, University of Mumbai. This workshop gave the faculty an insight about the change in syllabus and the scope of curriculum.

Industrial Visit

Industrial Visit to NIBM: On 29th July 2016, A Study visit was organized to National Institute of Banking & Management (Pune) to gain knowledge about banking industry. The NIBM representative briefed about the functioning of NIBM and answered the queries of the learners. Programme was very informative and enriched the knowledge of the learners.

Industrial Visit

Industrial Visit to GO-Cheese Factory was organized for FYBBI & SYBBI Learners on 4th February 2017. Learners visited GO CHEESE FACTORY to understand cheese production.

Industrial-cum-excursion Tour

TYBBI went to Amritsar, Chandigarh, & Manali from  6th January 2017 to 14th January 2017. Visit to various industries help the students to gather practical knowledge and develop entrepreneurial skills among the students.

Flagship Event

Banking Conclave-17: It is an inter collegiate one day Intellectual Guidance Lecture on “Demonitisation” & “Current Scenario of Banking” which was held in the college seminar hall on 10th December 2016. The lecture was delivered by Mr. Pradeep Surana and Mr. Asif Khan (Program Coordinator-NIBM). As an expert who guided our students and gave deeper understanding about the above topic. It was good platform for the students of various colleges to interact with speaker and got clear understanding of the current scenario.

Be A Banker: The Flagship event of Dept. of BBI “Be A Banker” was organized on 23rd February 2017. It had various competitions like Debate, Quiz, Elocution, What’s Your Product & PowerPoint Presentation. It was purely based on banking sector. This Competition provides a notion about banking. We promoted “Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana” through street play. The event was inaugurated by Chief Guest-Mr. Qamar Javed (Assistant General Manager-NABARD), Principal Ma’am Dr.Mrs.C.T.Chakraborty, Mr. Angad Singh (Sr. Vice President- BNP Paribus), Mr. Mahesh Krishnamoorthy (Chief Business Officer- Mahindra Business Solution), Ms. Sagarika Warik (Assistant Relationship Manager- Kotak Mahindra), Mr. Prahlad Tripathi (Managing Director-ETON Advisor Pvt. Ltd.), Mr. Venkatesh S. (Sr. Visiting Faculty-TCSC), Mrs. Shraddha Shukla (BBI Co-ordinator Shailendra College, Mr. Sandesha Shetty (BAF & BBI Co-ordinator- S.M. Shetty College) along with various Teaching Staff members. The winners were awarded with Certificate, trophy and Cash Prize. Students participated with enthusiasm & Zeal. It is a learning platform for future bankers.
