  1. ANTI-PLASTIC WEEK


IQAC and Department of B.Com (Banking and Insurance) organized ANTI-PLASTIC WEEK i.e., 8 Days National Online Events. The participants were provided E-Certificates. Out of seven events, 4 events had winning criteria and the winners were provided with winning certificate.

  • This event was conducted to create awareness on plastic reduction and recycling.

  • There were creative events conducted for participants to enhance their creative skills during this lockdown period.

  • The presentation was conducted to enhance their communication skills.

  1. BANKING NATIONALISATION DAY

Department of B.Com (Banking and Insurance) organized BANKING NATIONALISATION DAY i.e., ONE WEEK NATIONAL LEVEL EVENTS. This is seventh year we are celebrating this event. We also organized CLs MEET (Contingent Leader’s Meet) where all the representatives of different colleges in India were invited on 12th July, 2020.

Trophies and Awards were given to the college with maximum participants will get the Best College Award and the CLs who gets the maximum participants will get the Best CL Award. The total Four Trophies will be given i.e. Best College Award, Best CL Award, For Intra Department- Best Department Award and Best CL Award.

The participants were provided E-Certificates. Out of eight events, 3 events had winning criteria and they were provided the winning certificate

  1. GUIDANCE LECTURE ON PREVENTION AGAINST SUICIDE


Department of B.Com (Banking and Insurance) organized Guidance Lecture on Prevention against Suicide on 12th September, 2020. There were 76 participants. It was organized for First year, Second year and Third year UG Degree BBI students. 

This topic was discussed with the students by Ms. Samindara Sawant (Clinical Psychologist) to make understand the importance of presence of life of students to their closed ones like parents.

In this session, the students were told about how suicide gives impact to the closed ones. So committing suicide is not the ultimate solution for anything. It is truly said that if there is a will, there is a way.

  1. BANKING CONCLAVE’20

Department of B.Com (Banking and Insurance) and IQAC organized a “BANKING CONCLAVE’20” on 9th October, 2020 and 10th October, 2020. 

Day one i.e. 9th October 2020 the first speaker was Mr. Nikhil Shirgaonkar spoke on “Importance of Life Insurance” and second speaker was Dr. Punit Dwivedi spoke on “Name of the is the involvement – work life balance”. Day two i.e. 10th October 2020 the first speaker was Mr. Sanchit Jain spoke on “Investing mindset” and second speaker was Mr. Rishabh Singh spoke on “How to start a freelancing career”.

  1. RBI SESSION

Department of B.Com (Banking and Insurance) organized RBI Session Suicide on 17th October, 2020. The topic was “Financial Inclusion in India”. There were 81 participants. It was organized for First year, Second year and Third year UG Degree BBI students. 

This topic was helpful for the students and had an interactive session with the students. They understand the importance of financial inclusion and also how they were functioning during COVID-19 pandemic. It was conducted on WebEx Cisco platform.

The workshop was conducted by Nisha Ahir from TYBBI for First year students of BBI to make aware the use of documents in banks. This is important for every learner about the purpose of documents. It was a Two Days’ Workshop and on Day 2, a Test was conducted. This session was helpful for the learners as it was informative and an interactive session.

17.Gender responsive Budget Webinar

19. INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY (ICT) WORKSHOP

 

Department of B.Com (Banking and Insurance) organized ONE WEEK ICT WORKSHOP for all BBI Learners i.e., from 15th March 2021 to 20th March 2021. There were 49 participants. The registration was carried out through Google Forms. 

"Due to pandemic, the world has shifted to ONLINE PLATFORM. Many faced problems using computer software, how to use online platform, etc. Here, both the resource persons have taught basic lessons on following ICT sessions.

OBJECTIVES:-

  • One of the main aims of ICT is to help students to become competent and confident users who can use the basic knowledge and skills acquired to assist them in their daily lives.

  • In this workshop, participants will engage in detailed discussion and in-depth investigation into the role of information communication technology.

  • It is also supposed to prepare students for the world of tomorrow. It aims to help learners to have an open and flexible mind.

27. Be Insured

 

Department of B.Com (Banking and Insurance) organizedBE INSURED”, Two Day Intra College Level Event. We also organized CLs MEET (Contingent Leader’s Meet) where all the representatives of all departments were invited on 10th April, 2021. The CLs were invited through Zoom App. We gave all the information regarding Rules and Regulations of all the events. There were total 4 events. Every event had winning criteria. The participants were provided E-Certificates and winners with Winning Certificates.
