Guest lectures organized

On 6th September, 2017 Mr. Prahlad Tripathi from Eton Advisors enlightened the students on Live Market and Technical Analysis. He explained about the various factors affecting the prices of the shares.Total students participated in the event is 42.

The department was proud to host it’s Alumni Mr.Aaryendr Rajpurohit author “Bullock Cart to E- Cart” who interacted with the students giving them a closer outlook about the current market conditions and various Employment options available.55 students participated in the event.The lecture was held on 12th September 2017.

Leadership has become an important skill in the current world to survive the competition. To develop the skills further the department organized an Interactive session by Shradha Sahu, Divine India Youth Association on 9th December, 2017 wherein students enjoyed answering the questions and finding the leader in them. 74 students participated in it.
 



 

Study Visit Cum Excursion

An industrial visit to Amritsar, Manali and Chandigarh was organized for the students of the third year from 19th December 2017 to 27th December 2017. The students visited the Vardhaman Industries in Himachal Pradesh..30 students participated in it.



Social Activity

In order to spread awareness about the noble cause of ‘Polio Eradication’ on 1st July, 2017 the department had organized a Polio Awareness drive in association with the Rotaract Club of Bombay Kandivli and the BMC. The students covered an area of 3.5km and educated the citizens about the upcoming polio vaccination booth.




Workshop Organised

On 3rd February 2018, Department organized, One Day Syllabus Revision Workshop, along with Board of Studies, University of Mumbai. Resource Person for the workshop was Dr. Khyati Vora, member, BOS- Financial Markets. Faculty members of other colleges, alumni and learners participated in the discussion.total number of participants was 30.


Inter collegiate Event

Finstreet: The Department of B. Com. Financial Markets had organised an Inter Collegiate festival called the Finstreet - Let the Bull in you Growl on 6th February 2018. The festival has 5 events and 1 fun event focusing on giving a grass root mock experience and an Eagle eye outlook of the Financial Markets to the students. Finstreet 2018 had more than 180 participants from college all over Mumbai.Following events were held on the day.
