Department of Commerce (International Accounting) - Activities & Events in 2021-22



 FYBCOM (INTERNATIONAL ACCOUNTING) is a programme which in collaboration with MILES EDUCATION is providing a career in US CMA alongwith with regular I.B.COM Degree.The course aims at creating a Certified Management Accountant (CMA)- A Globally Recognized Certification.


  1. Conducted a Guest Lecture on “Sustainable Habits for Green Environment” held on 29th October 2021 at 5 pm on zoom platform. The lecture was attended by 53 students. Mrs Nusrat Khatri, a renowned Environmentalist was invited to address the students.


GUEST LECTURE ON SUSTAINABLE HABITS FOR GREEN ENVIRONMENT HELD ON  29TH OCTOBER, 2021-2022






 She spoke about simple habits that students must inculcate to have green environment. The meeting was attended by total of 53 students and was  appreciated by all. The meeting concluded with an oath by the students for developing green habits.



  1. Conducted a Guest Lecture on “Values in Digital Era” on 1st December 2021 at 3 pm on zoom platform. The lecture was attended by 166  students. Swami Devakantyananda Maharaj from Ram Krishna Mission, Khar was invited to address the students.

He spoke about self-awareness and advised students to be prudent while consuming digital content. He compared social media with opium and alerted students about the pitfall of its over indulgence. His motivating words were inspiring to all our students.


  1. Conducted a Guest  Lecture on “ Break the Bias – through Femvertising” which was conducted on 12th March 2022 at 5pm on Zoom Platform. The speaker was Dr Kajal. D. Bhojwani, HOD(Dept of Commerce), CHM College, Ulhasnagar.





She showed students different advertisements  starting from 1990 onwards till now depicting gender biasness.Through the advertisements she also showed us about the shifting of gender importance from male dominated society to female. She had very well conducted the lecture which involved students interaction.Total 60 students participated in the Guest Lecture.
