Miles Academy- external partner of CMA Course in collaboration with Thakur College of Science and Commerce had conducted an Interaction with Second year student of IA regarding CMA Exams, Paper Pattern & Curriculum related to it. It was a very fruitful session as students got a lot of insight related to it.

Department of International Accounting had organized a Career Guidance Lecture on “How to crack CMA Exams on 27 August 2022 The speaker of the event was Mr Varun Jain,CPA/CMA Instructor at Kanakia Space, Andheri, in that session he gave a practical lecture on how to crack CMA Exams. He also elaborated on the path ahead of CMA. He also gave some inputs on CMA Scholarship Exams. The session was attended by First year and Second Year Students along with Mr Mohammed Sadiq Hasan (Coordinator of 1A) in all 18 students had attended the event. Mr Varun Jain had given tips on how to solve the MCQ with few examples within the specific time.

Miles Academy had conducted a Session on “Introduction to CMA” for First Year Students. As it was a new course for first year students, so in-depth information about CMA Course Structure was given to them. He also explained the exam pattern of CMA.
It was a very informative and enriching session for the students.

Miles Academy had conducted CMA Scholarship Related Queries and feedback of First Year and Second Year Students. Mr Fenil having vast knowledge in the area of CMA Scholarship gave in-depth procedure about how to avail CMA Scholarship and road ahead. He also gave us the time limit within which the Scholarship should be used or else it will lapse. Later feedback was also taken regarding students satisfaction related to the course.It was an enriching session for all the students.
5) AICPA Certification in Strategic Finance
Venue: Computer IT Room No 401
AICPA Strategic Finance Program is a subset of the US CMA Program and covers key topics from the US CMA Curriculum and provides readiness for a career in Management Accounting. This certification is highly recognized and provides a valuable edge to the students while applying for jobs and in their continual career growth.
This exam was conducted for third year Ad-on CMA students on 27thFebruary 2023 in the college premises. Following students have earned the certification.

Department of International Accounting had organized an Interactive session on “Gender Equality from Past to Present”. The session was started with basic interaction between Students and Resource person. Shruti Ma’am first explain them what
kind of gender discrimination was there in past times. Depending upon the need and situation of the
society, lot of changes took place in law and rights of the society especially for Women’s. When we are talking about Gender Equality then it doesn’t mean rights of Women Provided by Law. Now a days as we all are aware many people are taking undue advantage of Law. So, Gender Equality means Law is same for All genders whether it is Male, Female or Transgender. The Basic Rights like Right to Education, Freedom from discrimination, Freedom from slavery etc gives equal right to everyone. She explains about various laws pertaining to gender discrimination. She also stretched upon various laws available for various Gender Discrimination and the institutions which are there for helping people.
