                            HOME SCHOOLING WEBINAR – 11 TH AUGUST 2020

We believed, or rather, were conditioned to believe, that learning happens only in a school’s classroom and that there is no alternative to it. Now, that more schools have closed because of the Coronavirus Pandemic, it is necessary for us to learn and know more about the importance of it. Ms. Pinky Tripathi, an educator was invited as a resource person to talk about home schooling on 11th August, 2020. All the factors affecting the choices of the students were addressed and the myths and superstitions regarding the choices were burst to a large extent. The session was attended by 100 students. 






  











Webinar on Business start-up

Narendra Modi Government is putting a lot of emphasis on the importance of start-ups. There is nothing like starting your own set-up. To guide the students more about the start-ups, a webinar was organized by the Department of B.Com (Investment and Management) on 29th October, the resource person for which were Mr Rishabh Singh and Mr Gaurav Jain, well experienced professionals. The interactions made sure that there was no low point in the session. It gave everyone a clear perspective about the concept of business start-ups. All the factors affecting the choice of the students were addressed and the myths and superstitions related to the topic were cleared to a large extent. The session was attended by more than 400 students. 








International Day of Zero Tolerance to Female 


On the International Day of Zero Tolerance to Female Genital Mutilation, the Department of B.Com (Investment Management) conducted a webinar to raise awareness on FGM, on 6th February, 2021. The guest speaker for the session was Dr. Sejal Salvi. Female Genital Mutilation is recognized internationally as a violation of human rights of girls and women. The department took the initiative to give voice to voiceless and contribute to the United Nation's annual awareness day to eradicate female genital mutilation. The session was attended by 84 students.
