- The Department has incubated a society-extension program to outreach
its responsibility towards the society by incorporating the CSR
activity. A visit to underprivileged children school teaching them
Elementary English and motor skills.
Marketing Week
: The department of management studies had conducted "Corporate Nexus -
Academia to Industry", a week full of activities providing knowledge
regarding the market as well as an opportunity to enhance one's
marketing skills. From 15th January to 17th January the students from
marketing department of B.M.S conducted management games in all the
classes of B.M.S. These activities were purely based on the current
state of market and the rising demand. On 18th of January i.e the 4th
day of corporate nexus, quiz competition was held.
HR Week:
From 22nd January, 2018 to 25th January, 2018, HR week was celebrated.
During week various events was arranged to get knowledge about various
aspects of Human Resources. HR Model 2020 , Mock Interviews, Myers
Briggs Personality test, HR Quiz, Top 10 Recruiters, Role Play &
Case Study Session.
Aptipreneur
is the BMS brand event of the college held every year. This event is
based on the lines on management entrance tests like CAT, CMAT, CET,
SNAP, NMAT etc. The event starts with a digital mock test followed by
Group discussions and Personal Interviews. This year Apti-Preneur not
only conducted an aptitude test for MBA aspirants but also included an
element of analytical reasoning by means of ‘Treasure Hunt’. The clues
were spread across Thakur College and the vicinity.
