Guest lecture on Investment awareness , an Initiative by SEBI was organized on 2nd Aug 2019 . The guest speaker for the event was Ms Krutika Jain Mehta , Financial Professional & Trainer, Lotus wealth. A 25 minutes duration movie on Importance of Mutual funds was shown to the students. The students learned about the various Investment opportunities avaiable in the capital market especially the importance of Systematic Investment plan (SIP) in Mutual funds & equity shares.

Seminar on Digital marketing and freelancing was organized on 16 Jan 2020. The guest speaker for the event was Mr. Swapnil Pase, Managing Director of Freelancer Academy. He guided the students about various opportunities available to the students after graduation in digital marketing and freelancing.,about different types of skills required to perform jobs in the challenging world and  also about various Careers as Digital marketer, Youtuber etc.

A Seminar on "Strategic Thinking Capability of Marketers and Rebooting Customer Centric Marketing" on 15th February, 2020.The Resource Person for the Seminar was Mr. Soham Wagh, Senior Marketing Manager at GlaxoSmithKline. He shared practical examples of many renowned companies' strategic marketing techniques and spoke at length about the importance of prioritizing the customer in today's marketing world. He gave the nuts and bolts of the most valuable skill - i. e. Strategic Thinking and how many successful brands have benefited from it. Overall, it was a very interactive session and the students were enriched with information about the trending topic.

This webinar was the third in the series of webinar organised by Department of Management Studies with IQAC, Thakur College of Science and Commerce; The webinar was themed on INNOVATIVE BUSINESS MANAGEMENT PRACTICES. The webinar was organised for undergraduate management students and teachers from across India. The speaker highlighted the importance of e content and the role it will play in academics in post COVID era. He mentioned some platform for creating e content. His vast knowledge in online teaching and e content creation made the webinar very helpful and worthwhile for all.

The webinar was conducted by an eminent speaker Mr.A.R.K.S. Srinivas IIM CALCUTTA CEO- Career Laucher, on 23rd May 2020  at 6 to 7.15 pm. 

The  main objective was to let the students and faculties know about the designing of business plans which is the great need of time.

The unique Marketing Quiz concept was all about testing the best minds present via a series of Guessing Games, Logo Quiz, Guess the Tag lines and to Re-Brand, Re-Position a Brand which has either withdrawn from the market or on its exit stage. The Re-Wire Brand should have a new Logo and Brand identity. Almost 95 teams participated and learned the importance of Branding for a Company. The winners were awarded trophies and certificates and all participants were given Digital Certificates keeping Digital India in mind

  1. Topic – “Adventure- Workshop on Logo Designing”

The workshop was conducted by Ms. Ruddhi Merchant a renowned Logo Designer who has worked with famous & established brands . 100 participants participated in the workshop . Learners got a hands on experience on Logo designing & 10 groups designed 10 unique Logos of different products from various sectors. Overall the workshop enriched Creativity & Knowledge about the designing skills among the learners

He guided the learners about the opportunities in the field of finance for SYBMS Learners. He gave detailed review for area of specialisation and current status of employment opportunity in India and abroad. He shares his knowledge and experience which motivated and guided learners to take their career in finance.

This is a flagship event of the Department.

348 learners from various colleges took the Mock CAT aptitude test. They got to learn about the verbal & ;nonverbal reasoning, English language & Quantitative skills required to clear the CAT with high percentile. To help the students to improve their Puzzle & Problem solving skill, Treasure Hunt event was held where 5 teams from various colleges participated with enthusiasm. Management Games like War of Managers , S20 submit , CEO Employees vs Hierarchy & Apti Pvt Ltd were organised where Iearner showcased their managerial , leadership & Communication skills .The event was sponsored by Career launcher & Powered by Mayura Jewellers , Gillette & Cadbury
