Activities & Events conducted in year 2016-17

A Guest Lecture  was organized on 20th December 2016,by Mr.Narendra Surve,an active social reformer from Sanatan Sanstha,Panvel on ‘Guidance for Academic Excellence & Personality Development’.Positive thoughts,constant practice,happy mind,healthy food,Yoga,belief in self capacity were suggested for successfully facing exams. Emphasis was given on appropriate body language,healthy mind , ego removal & acceptance of self-mistake for Personality Development.

A Guest Lecture was organized on 11th January 2017,by Mrs.Seema Redkar,from Waste Management Department of Mumbai Municipality & Observer’s Research Foundation, on ‘Effective Waste Management’.Swachchha Bharat Abhiyaan & types, hazards of  wastes & their disposal methods were explained.A documentary was also included in it,which showed differences between waste management methods of earlier & previous era,necessity of separation of dry & wet waste,composting & assistance of ‘Parisar Bhagini’(Municipality Worker) for proper waste handling.

Poster Presentation Competition was organized on the theme ‘Sustainable Waste Management’ on 4th January 2017.Students actively participated in it presenting variety of creativity in it.
