Webinar :- On 19th December 2020, a Webinar cum Guest Lecture on ‘Sustainable Living’ was conducted by Mr.Sagar Vira (Environmentalist) via Zoom Platform (Online Mode).Concept, importance, myths of Sustainability, it’s crucial elements like-Reduction of Carbon & Water Footprints, Conservation of Natural Resources,6R’s of Sustainable Lifestyle i.e.-Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Replenish, Raise your Voice were explained in it.

Competition :- Poster Making:- In collaboration with Nature Club Association, a Poster Making Competition, based on the theme-‘Save Water & Life’, was organized on the occasion of  ‘World Wetland Day’,2nd February 2021.Learners portrayed variety of ideas like-Emphasis on tree plantation for water conservation, Prevention of Water Pollution & Techniques of Water Saving while making use of it in Day

One Day National Conference :- Department of Environmental Studies, Botany, & IQAC of Thakur College of Science and Commerce - TCSC [Autonomous], Kandivali, Mumbai in collaboration with the University of Mumbai had organized One - Day National Conference on “Sustainable Development: A Green Approach [NCSDGA] 2021” on Saturday, 6th March 2021. The conference was mainly supported by NABARD. The other cosponsors were Speed International India Pvt. Ltd. Chemical Manufacturing and My Green Society.

Dr. (Mrs.) Anuradha Majumdar; Dean, Faculty of Science & Technology, University of Mumbai was the Chief Guest while Ms. Tiakala AO, General Manager, Department of Economic Analysis & Research, NABARD Head Office, Mumbai was the Guest of Honour for the Inaugural Function. 

Prof. (Dr.) Praveen G. Saptarshi, Eminent Professor, Sustainability Management, Indian Institute of Coast and Management Studies & Research, Pune delivered the keynote address while Mr. Dev Balaji, Advisor & Trainer, Karnataka State Ecotourism Board and Prof. (Dr.) Moushumi Datta, Professor (Geography) & Vice Principal, NL College, Malad, Mumbai delivered invited talk.

Intercollegiate Competition :- An Intercollegiate Competition, ‘Paryavaran Mitravat’ was organized on 26th March 2021, An inauguration session was carried out via- Guest lecture of  Dr. Parvish Pandya,(Consultant-Sanctuary Nature Foundation) on the theme ‘Time for Nature’,via Zoom Platform ,in online mode.An insight of India’s Biodiversity was given by displaying flora & fauna of Biogeographic Zones.Information of medicinally important plants was given.Ecological role of social insects like-Ants, Honeybees were explained.

Competitions :-i) Essay Writing :-On  ‘World Earth Day’, 22nd April, 2021, an Essay Writing Competition was organised, via- Online Mode (Google Form Method),on the topic –‘Restore our Earth’. On  ‘World Earth Day’, 22nd April, 2021, an Essay Writing Competition was organised, via- Online Mode (Google Form Method),on the topic –‘Restore our Earth’.Learners put forward their variety of suggestions for restoring our ‘Mother Earth’, such as- Tree Plantation,Avoiding use of Plastic, Water Conservation & Education,Awareness creation amongst masses. 

ii) Quiz Competition :- A Quiz Competition was organized on 1st May 2021, via- Online Mode (Google Form Method), based on the theme of- ‘Maharashtra Day & International Labour’s Day’.
