Activities & Events conducted in year 2019-20

Guest Lectures

A Value addition Guest Lecture, on the topic “Value Education and Stress Management” was conducted on 29th June, 2019. The speaker for the session was  Das Gadadhar Das, Director, Bhakti Vedanta Vidya Bhawan- an education wing of ISKON. Total of 300 learners participated.

A Guest Lecture was conducted on “Study Abroad & Credit Transfer Program” by Mr. Zachariah Samuel, Director at Computrin on 28th November, 2019. 100 learners attended the session.

A session on “Career Counseling” was conducted for Post Graduate students by Mr. Vikas Bajpai, Freelancer Developer on 16th January, 2020. Total 45 students participated.

A Guest Lecture was conducted on “Blockchain Technology and its Impact in Current Market” by Mr. Pranav Shastri, Director at Shastri Programming Pvt. Ltd., on 18th February, 2020. 45 learners attended the session.

A Guest Lecture on the topic of “Introduction of Robotics Design” was conducted by Mr. Tejas Hoskatti, CEO Taijjas Infotech Pvt. Ltd. On 06th March, 2020. A total of 180 participants were present.

Workshops Organized

A Three Days Workshop on “Android Application Development” form 21st to 23rd August, 2019 was organized for the learners. Mr. Vikas Bajpai, Freelance Trainer, provided expertise in self-service based applications. A total of 45 learners participated. 

A One Day Workshop on “Drupal”, a new and upcoming aspect in web content management was organized for first year learners on 29th February, 2020. The resource persons were Mr. Nitesh Sethiya, Drupal Technical Specialist, Ms. Syngenta and Ms, Kajal Kiran, HR Capital IT Services gave an insight on how to develop web related application. A total of 45 learners participated.

Certificate course

A Certificate Course in “Data Analytics” was conducted from January to February, 2020 for a duration of 80 hours and was completed by 41 learners.

Industrial Visit

An Industrial Visit to Juri-Search Services Pvt. Ltd. was organized on 27th August, 2019. Mr.Parag Ghandhi, CEO interacted with the students, explaining how the Indian IT Industry provides services and solutions related to IT issues abroad. A total of 220 learners were present.

An Industrial cum Excursion Tour to Jaisalmair, SAM, Jodhpur was organized for the Second Year, Third year and MSc-IT learners for a duration of10 days. A total of 52 learners participated in this tour. The aim of the visit was to expose the learners to the industry of other states, so as to understand the culture and experience.

• Mr. Anand Upadhyay , selected as member of the Reviewer CCME2020 committee, 2020 2nd International Conference on Computer, Communications and Mechatronics Engineering that will be held in Xiamen, China.
