Weekend Industrial Training & Project Internship Program was conducted for Third year students of IT & DS. First training session conducted on first weekend of July i.e. 4th July 2021 with 200 participants and last session was conducted on 1st August 2021. The four-weekend internship training program was organized to train TY students to get right exposure from the industry trainers. Mr. Rajesh Gupta, Sr. Software Developer, Path Info Tech Ltd was the trainer for this internship.
A Value addition Guest Lecture, on the topic ‘Integrity & Peace’ was conducted on 17th July, 2021 with 400 participants. The Guest Speaker was Das Gadadhar Das, Director, Bhakti Vedanta Vidya Bhawan (Education wing of ISKCON) The session aimed at moulding the learners towards a positive and peaceful life and importance of integrity in life.
“Coding Skills Enhancement” by Mr. Mahendra Sharma, MD, RDA, InfoTech was the session organized for SYBSc-IT & Data Science learners to brush up their coding skills. Mr. Sharma through the interactive session tried to provide an insight into programming languages and its usage. A total of 150 learners were benefitted from the session conducted on 7th August, 2021.
A webinar on the topic “IOT Based Utilities” was organized on 28th August 2021 from 11:30 to 13:30 with 400 participants from all UG & PG programs of IT & DS under Alumni Connect. Ms. Akanksha Sharma (Alumna), Global sector Manager, Shell was the resource person who was an alumna of the department, graduated in year 2009. The main objective of this session was to connect the alumni with the present students and to get the real time industry requirements in different sector.
A session on ‘Career Counselling’ was conducted for 335 Graduate and Post Graduate students by Ms. Komal Mehrotra, Head, tech/Leadership hiring @HR Central on 25th September, 2021. The session helped the learners to understand the prospective career options and latest requirements of the industry.
A One Day Workshop on IPR, Incubation & Patents was organized in association with Patent & IPR Cell of college for faculty, UG & PG students of college with 350 participants on 9th October 2021 from 11:00AM to 5:30 PM by Adv.(Dr). Suryakant Patil, MD & CEO, PSP IP Patent Attorneys & Ministry of Education IIC startup Mentor. Learners who were informed about intellectual property, multiple opportunities & procedures for filing of Patent.
A seminar on Data Protection Strategies in IT & Banking Industry was organized for students of IT & DS on 9th October 2021 at 12:30PM by Ms. Pinky Sahu, Data Protection Engineer, JP Morgan. Data Protection is a set of strategies and processes you can use to secure the privacy, availability and integrity of your data. Total 116 Students attended the seminar.
Mr. Jeffery Hutcheson, Director, International Admissions, Rider University, New Jersy, USA delivered online guest lecture on ‘Study Abroad & Credit Transfer Program and ‘International Studies & Opportunities’ on 9th February, 2022 at Zoom platform. The guest lecture was well attended by 100 learners of BMS who were informed about multiple opportunities and procedures for pursuing higher education overseas.
Mr. Jeffery Hutcheson, Director, International Admissions, Rider University, New Jersy, USA visited TCSC campus and Conducted a session on Study Abroad & Credit Transfer Program and ‘International Studies & Opportunities’ on 16th March, 2022 for the students of FYIT. Total 150 students attended the session.
A Guest Lecture was conducted on “Study Abroad & Credit Transfer Program” by Mr. Zachariah Samuel, Director at Computrin on 6th April, 2022 for students of department of Computer science. Total 150 learners attended the session.
Certification Course in “Drupal” was organized for the learners on 26th March, 2022. Drupal is the content management software which will help the 85 learners to develop web related applications. The Resource Person Mr. Nitesh Sethiya, Drupal Technical Specialist, Syngenta Services Pvt. Ltd.
An Industrial cum Excursion Tour to Mahabaleshwar was organized for First year, Msc. IT learners for a duration of 3 days from 3rd April to 6th April, 2021 & another tour to Mussoorie, Rishikesh & Haridwar for Second- & Third-Year students for a duration of 6 days from 20th April to 26th April, 2022. A total of 50 learners participated in this tour.
In an initiative to connect with society as well as value learning exercise a group of learners along with faculty members visited BMC school Samata Nagar on 9nd April, 2022 to conduct a session on computer literacy & basic computer skills for 7th & 8th standard students. 50 school children benefitted from the session

Mr. Prathik Shetty (TYIT) was awarded EVENT MANAGER OF THE YEAR 2022 by NIEM the Institute of Event Management.
Ms. Padmaja Vichare (SYIT) participated in essay writing competition organized by Ramakrishna math & Ramakrishna mission and secured 3rd rank in January 2022.
Bipin Kumar Yadav, Kirti Singh, Varun Shukla (TYIT) Presented a research paper title “COVID-19 Data Clustering using K-mean and Fuzzy C-mean Algorithm and COVID-19 Prediction” in 2nd International Conference on Information Technology (InCITe 2022) on 3rd March, 2022 at Amity University, Noida (UP) (Springer Publication, Scopus Indexed)
Ms. Divya Deora(TYIT) participated in Elocution competition in UDAAN festival, DLLE University of Mumbai on 8th March, 2022 and won Consolation Prize.
Mr. Abhishek Sakpal (TYIT)participated in Inter college sports festival organized by RD National college, Bandra and his team won first prize in volleyball on 22nd March,2022.
Students of (SYIT) Mr. Utkarsh Mishra, Kaushik Tiwari, Firoz Shaikh submitted a Research Paper titled “Road Detection Form High-Revolution Satellite Image Using LVQ” under the guidance of Mr. Anand Upadhaya in National Conference on Open Sources Data Science (NCOSDS) and their paper is accepted.
