Activities & events conducted in academic year 2024-2025


Tricolour Day was celebrated on 14th August in collaboration with NASM, with the participation of 31 students and teachers. Honouring the spirit of unity and patriotism, students showcased cultural performances reflecting the essence of the national flag. The event fostered a sense of pride and respect for the country, making it a memorable occasion for all.


Traditional Day was celebrated on 17th August 2024 in collaboration with NASM, with 31 learners participating. As part of an engaging classroom activity, students showcased and embraced diverse cultures and traditions, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of India's rich heritage. The celebration served as a platform to promote unity in diversity, making it an enriching and memorable experience for all participants.

National Sports Day
On 29th August, NASM-TCSC celebrated National Sports Day with great enthusiasm and excitement for FY- Bachelors of Sports Management Students. The event, held at Home Turf,Thakur Village, Kandivali (E), was organized to honour the birth anniversary of Major Dhyan Chand, one of India's greatest sports personalities, and to promote the importance of sports and physical activities among students.

Inauguration Ceremony

The day began with a grand inauguration ceremony. The event was graced by the presence of Mr.Vipul Solanki, Director- Future Varsity Group, who was invited to address the gathering.He emphasized the significance of sports in developing teamwork, leadership, and a healthy lifestyle. Mrs.Smita Jaju, NASM-Institution Head motivated and encouraged students to participate with true sportsmanship .The event was officially declared open by unveiling the  trophies.

Sports Competitions


On 25th August we had conducted E-sports at Future Varsity campus and 6 students from FY-BSM participated. They even volunteered in the event. We had BGMI, PES Mobile gaming. On 29th we organised outdoor sports like Football & Cricket. Our students participated in both the events. 

Staff and students also participated in a spirited Tug of War and other fun-filled games, further adding to the day's excitement.


The competitions were fiercely contested, within NASM students showcasing their skills, determination, and sportsmanship. The spirit of healthy competition was evident throughout the event, with participants giving their best efforts to secure victories for their respective class teams. Our students reached semis & played very well.


Prize Distribution Ceremony


The day concluded with Prize distribution ceremony where winners of various competitions were awards trophies and certificates. Mr Gopal Sharma, Director - FVEG Group & LSI - Director along with Jignasa Davne, National Referee for Football served as the chief guest.  Jheel Chouhan , FY- BSM student won PES Mobile game.

The Industrial Visit to Wankhede Stadium on 30th August 2024, organized with NASM, provided hands-on insights into stadium operations. From FY-BSM, 31 students participated, learned about ground maintenance for various cricket formats, event planning, and sports infrastructure management. This visit bridged theory with real-world applications, offering invaluable career exposure in sports management.


The Winning Brand Workshop, held on 5th October 2024 in collaboration with NASM, provided valuable insights into branding and marketing. Through interactive sessions, real-world case studies, and practical exercises, students learned key strategies for brand building, market positioning, and consumer perception, enhancing their professional growth in marketing. The movie Hawa Hawai was screened on 18th October 2024 to inspire students with themes of perseverance, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Following the screening, a faculty-led discussion highlighted key lessons on hard work, resilience, and fair play in sports. The event was well-received, motivating students and reinforcing valuable career insights. 21 learners were benefited


The Yuva Premier League (YPL) & FIT INDIA WEEEK 2024 Inter-Collegiate Sports Competition on 27th November 2024, organized with TCSC, NASM (Nest Academy of Sports management), featured an exhilarating Table Tennis Showdown. With 55 participants, the event promoted skill development, agility, and sportsmanship, making it a thrilling experience.

YPL 2024, held on 28th–29th November, was a grand skill development initiative with 2,500 participants, where 102 colleges have taken part, featuring 14 diverse sports, the event's success was driven by extensive planning, promotions, and digital engagement, setting new benchmarks in sports event management

INTER COLLEGIATE  EVENTS 

In collaboration with NASM Management, a Kabaddi Competition was organized. The event drew participation from various teams across Mumbai, creating a lively and competitive atmosphere. 21 teams participate from various colleges 

Kho Kho Competition was  organised in association with NASM . 11 team from  different colleges participated.

Additional Activities in YPL:

Students were motivated to take an oath to maintain a regular fitness regimen and prioritize health.

A 2 km walk was organized to promote fitness awareness and encourage walking as a form of exercise.

Stick Fight  added excitement and provided insights into strength-building sports, inspiring students to explore different athletic disciplines.


Conclusion:

Fit India Week 2024 successfully highlighted the importance of physical and mental fitness. The activities encouraged students and faculty to adopt healthier lifestyles and reinforced the significance of regular exercise and sports in daily life. The week-long celebration was met with overwhelming participation and enthusiasm, making it a memorable and impactful event. The inclusion of yoga, indoor and outdoor games, and competitions provided a balanced mix of activities, ensuring holistic engagement and learning.

This event not only promoted fitness but also strengthened community spirit, teamwork, and personal growth, leaving a lasting impact on participants.



The "Basic Excel to Advanced Excel" master class on 26th December 2024, in collaboration with NASM, trained 20 students in Excel under Mr. Alpesh Shah (Industry Expert). It covered foundational to advanced skills like income sheet analysis, pivot tables, and data visualization, enhancing data management proficiency.

The "Career in Sports Management" master class on 4th January 2025, in collaboration with NASM, guided 31 students and teachers. Led by Mr. Tejas Goradia (Chief Business Officer, India on Track Sporting Aspirations Pvt. Ltd.), it explored sports business, event management, marketing, and athlete management, providing industry insights and career guidance.

Students Achievements

  1. Achievements of the Student in Inter-Collegiate Activities:

Rudra Singh, an FY BSM student (Roll No. 17226), has brought great honor to TCSC by securing:

i)  Bronze at the 2nd Asian Chessboxing Tournament held in Kolkata

ii) Silver at the 3rd Indian Open International Tournament

Ms. Simran Verma  an FY BSM student (Roll No. 17215),her incredible achievement in winning Gold in the Maharashtra Olympic Association State-Level Competition!
