Junior College Commerce - Activities & Events in 2025-26

ACTIVITY 1 

Department of Environment Education (Junior Science and Commerce) organized a “Ganesh Idol-making” Skill-based Workshop  on 11th August, 2025 in the Inner Quadrangle. The Workshop covered  Ganesh idol making using modelling clay and eco-friendly products,  by Mr. Tatwajna Shetty, an Idol sculptor. 

The objective was to inculcate 'Learning by Doing for future  Sustainable Living'.  

57 participants joined this Workshop and proudly took away their  self- made idols. Not to forget, this activity created an awareness  amongst the students of celebrating festivals without harming nature.
