Department Activity:
1. Documentary presentation on “Introduction to astronomy and Chandrayan” was conducted on 8th August 2019.
2. Skill Development program on Solar Ambassador Training workshop on 2nd Oct 2019 as a part of Gandhi Global Solar Yatra planned by IIT Mumbai celebrating the 151st birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.

The following activities were conducted by Biology Department (Jr.College)
1.Had organized Fruit and vegetable carving competition on 22 nd Oct 2019
2.Had organized programme on ‘Importance of Biodiversity’ on 30th January 2020.
3.Had organized a programme on ‘Medicinal plants’ on 30th, 31st January and 1st February 2020 for the FYJC student.
Junior College Computer Science and I.T. Department had jointly conducted MS_EXCEL 10 Hrs. training program for junior college staff in June,2019.
Junior College Computer Science and Electronic Department had organized educational trip
to TCSE technical fest “Zephyr” on 20th Sept., 2019.
Junior College Computer Science Department has organized two days workshop on “Ethical hacking” jointly with Envira Edustation on 23rd and 24th December,2019.

The following activities were conducted by Chemistry Department (Jr.College):
CHEMOPEDIA :This event was conducted for S.Y.J.C students on 23.10.2019.The first round was solving MCQs and the second round was to detect solutions.

CHEMOFIG: This activity was conducted on 24th September 2019 for F.Y.J.C students .The students had to draw figure on topic “ Crackers for festive occasion – Yes or No: Chemical aspect”.

WORKSHOP :F.Y.J.C students were taken to Nehru Science Center on 5th December 2019. The workshop was organized by “The Institute of Chemical Technology” ,Matunga.
The speaker Dr. Bhanage Prof. ICT spoke on” Day today Chemistry”.
Prof. A.Pandit Vice Chancellor,ICT spoke on “Popularising Chemistry’.
The students were given live demonstrations on theme “Fascinating Chemistry”‘by ICT Ph.D research scholars.
QUIZ: The F.Y.J.C students wholeheartedlyparticipated in the Quiz competition held on 29th January 2020.After three rounds of elimination the following were the winners:

Dept. of E.V.E Celebrated International Tiger Day on 16th August 2019. All the FYJC and SYJC students along with the teachers took a pledge to SAVE TIGERS which was accompanied by a small skit enacted by the SYJC students. The event concluded with a poster making competition.

April 2019
The Junior college Department of Science and Commerce organized Faculty Development Program EDUTECH # Empower,Enhance,Enable,Engage on 20 th April 2019.The Chief Guest for the program was Shri Sharad Khandagle,Divisional Secretary,Maharashtra State Board of Sec. and Higher Sec. Edn.,Mumbai Divisional Board.
All the faculty members of the college alongwith 50 junior college teachers of other colleges actively participated in the sessions that were conducted throughout the day.
Session 1 was conducted by Dr. Gauri Hardikar .The session dealt with Empowering learners through Life skill education.
Session 2 was very hands on and conducted by Dr.Usha Borkar on Cooperative learning strategy.
Session 3 was conducted by Dr.Eshita Mandal on Potential of teachers:Inspire and motivate students
The program was highly beneficial for all the teachers as they experienced various approach to the teaching learning process.Also provided them an insight into various realms of psychology of students and surely helped them to sharpen their skills as teachers.
