Infrastructure to TCSC

During the course of the Academic year Alumni come over to TCSC for reunions as Batch mates or on the basis of Department Alumni. During such occasions the Alumni plan to provide the needed infrastructure to the department and also to the college in general. Support like providing Digital Projectors, Smart Boards, RO systems are some such activities which are taken up by the Alumni Association.

Needy Student Support

Many students who face major financial problems and they are not in a position to pay for their Fee, Travelling and lunch. Support like providing Fully /Partial Tuition Fee and a free meals programme is arranged for the same and the Alumni Association bears with the costs.

Research Support

Support like providing research grant, donating equipments participating in some ongoing research work and do joint publications or apply for patent for the same are some of the area of support from Alumni Association.

Sports Infrastructure

Many students who are having great talent in sports but face major financial problems and they are not in a position to pay for latest sports equipment and professional trainings. There is also a plan called "Walk with Champion" to invite alumni who can be also Mentors on one to one basis to provide handholding support to a deserving student all through his/her sports career in the campus.

Student Hostel Support

One of the long awaited programmes of Alumni Association is the construction of TCSC Hostel with more accommodation facilities. Ever since inception applications for hostel seats have been steadily growing. City like Mumbai getting accommodation is very difficult task and private accommodation is very costly. TCSC being hindi minority Institution gets many applications for the Hostel from all over India and abroad like UttarPradesh , Madhya Pradesh, Gujraat, Bihaar, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Nigeria and Afganistaan. Due to the growing need of Hostel Accommodation TCSC Management is also Planning to build a new hostel with more number of rooms. Support like providing Internet Connection, RO systems, Intercom are some such activities which are taken up by the Alumni Association.

Give Life

A number disaster management programmes, accidental programmes and special programmes for the differentially abled persons, programmes to support the elderly women, orphan children are conducted by TCSC periodically. The Alumni Association takes up supporting these programmes in cash and kind.

Mentoring Activity

Alumni members are invited to give motivational talks to the fresh students during the annual orientation days. Some are called during course of the year to give Special lectures on the basis of their expertise. There is also a plan called "Walk with Scholar" to invite alumni who can be Mentors on one to one basis to provide handholding support to a deserving student all through his/her studies in the campus.
