Campus Beats (Newsletter of the College)
‘Campus Beats’ is a newsletter of TCSC, which is published by the students of Department of Mass Media.
Objectives of practice: To make students aware about the various steps in newspaper making, that includes reporting, designing the layout, writing, editing and taking pictures too. The big idea here is Learning by doing.
Outline Principles: Students are asked to cover the events that take place in college and prepare a report on that. They attend the event to get firsthand information and then compile it in the form of a news report. The objective is to acquaint them with various aspects of news reporting. At the event, students interview celebrities/guests and capture them on camera.
