Nature Club Association Report 2022-2023
Zoology Department in Collaboration with Nature Club Tree Plantation drives in Sanjay Gandhi National Park on 07.08.2022. Faculty members and the students have participated in the Tree plantation drive in the National park in collaboration with Mumbai March and SGNP.
Guest lecture by Dr. Deepak Apte in collaboration with Nature Club and Srushti Foundation on dated 26 Aug. 2022 at 05:00 PM. 46 parents have participated in the meeting.
Guest lecture by Dr. Deepak Apte in collaboration with Nature Club and Srushti Foundation on the occasion of “World Wildlife Week” dated 01 Oct. 2022 at 04:00 PM. 60 parents have participated in the meeting. The resource person delivered talk on Endangered species and conservation programs of the Government of India.
On the Occasion of International Tiger Day Zoology Department in Collaboration with Nature Club Organized online Guest Lecture on “ Man Wild Conflict” by Mr. Jaydeep Patil, Research Fellow, Wild Life Institute of India( WII), Dehradun on 20th July 2022. 75 students has participated from degree Science and Commerce.
Poster making competition Report
Department of Environment Studies and Foundation Course in Collaboration with Nature Club organized Intra Collegiate Poster making competition on 30th July 2022 . The theme of the competition was “Save Mother Earth". The Learners were asked to prepare posters and submit to the teachers on A3 size of paper. Total 113 learners from professional & regular courses of Science and commerce participated in the event. It was made mandatory that the learners need to make the posters in hand and no digital printouts will be allowed. Mrs. Suchandana Datta and Dr. Manju Singhania were the judges of the event who announced top 3 winners and given two consolation prizes. The teachers of Dept of EVS and Fc helped assisted in organizing the activity successfully. The list of winners are as follows:
