SCIENCE ASSOCIATION [ACADEMIC YEAR 2019 - 2020]
In the Academic year 2019-20, various Activities were organized by Science Association, to enhance the knowledge of students in diverse fields. The details of activities conducted are as follows:
On 27th September, 2019 Science Association & Paryavaran Mitravat, organized Gust lecture on "Wonder Material-Polymer/Plastic: it's characteristics applications and effect on environment". Resource person Dr. Indrajit Ray, Polymer Technologist & Consultant, addressed the student from Science & Commerce streams. A total 195 Student (Science & Commerce streams) Participated in the event.
One Day Study Visit to Institute of Technology, Mumbai (ICT) was organized On 1st February, 2010 by Science Association to enhance the knowledge of the learners in the recent advancement in the various fields of science.
On 18th February, 2020 Origin-2020 an Intra Collegiate Science Exhibition was Organized in collaboration with Department of Computer Science. Approximately 125 exhibits and 400 students Participated and presented their exhibits. The event was Judged by the subject experts from different academic Institution as well as Industry.
On 28th February, 2020 Science association celebrated National Science Day. 77 Students from B.Sc. and M.Sc. were addressed by Dr. C.P. Shukla followed by Movie screening: Documentary on Sir C.V. Raman as well as Claire Danes in Pandit Devprabhakar Shastri Sudio, Thakur College of Science & Commerce, Kandivali (E), Mumbai
