Swami Vivekananda Association - Activities & Events conducted in 2023-2024
Messages of Swami Vivekananda were written on the board every day in the morning. Every week new message was given to the students which were written by students on board. The objective was to make the students introspect and internalize the thoughts of Swami Vivekananda, and make them individuals of strong character and integrity.
The Association organized a quiz competition on LIFE OF SWAMI VIVEKANANDA to bring awareness and instill teachings of Swamiji in young minds. The quiz competition was held on 18th August, 2023 in the seminar hall. There were 88 students who participated in the offline quiz competition and 226 students who participated in online quiz competition. The winner of the event were

On 4th September, 2023 a book exhibition was organized in the premise of the college in association with Ram Krishna Mission. A mobile book store van was parked in the college to encourage students to go through books on Swami Vivekananda and Shri Ram Krishna. This aroused curiosity of the students and the mobile book store was visited by many students from across the college.
Celebration of National Youth Day: National Youth Day was celebrated on 12th Jan, 2024 when the students remembered Swamiji’s teaching by propagating his message. 12 Students of FYBCOM with one student dressed as Swamiji, went from class to class with posters of Swamiji’s thoughts and discussed the relevance of the same. Students also decorated the board with his portrait and his teachings. Group of students went to Ramakrishna Mission, Khar to attend a grand celebration organized in honor of Swamiji’s birthday.
Students also participated in Essay Writing Competition, conducted by Ram Krishna Mission, Khar. 44 students sent their essay in different category. The result of the same is awaited.
A National Level Conference was organised on 6th March,2024 Swami Vivekananda Association and IQAC of the college in collaboration with University of Mumbai and Ramakrishna Mission, Mumbai organised a National Level Conference on hybrid mode. The theme of the conference was Harmonising Wisdom By Unveiling Thoughts Of Swami Vivekananda’s Teachings And Indian Knowledge System For Enhancing Quality Higher Education”. The conference was aimed for undergraduate and post graduate students, research scholars as well as the faculties. The chief guests of the event were:

The conference theme was appreciated by all and we got a very good response from participants all around. 23 participants published in blind peer reviewed journal named International Journal of Advance and Innovative Research ( IJAIR), Volume 11, Issue 1 (VII) Jan- March 2024, with ISSN Number 2394-7780. It has an impact factor of 7.46.
24 participants from different colleges published in International Research Journal of Commerce Arts and Science with Reference Number: CASIRJ/2024/A1018733 and ISSN 2319-9202. It is an UGC care listed Journal.
10 participants chose to present their paper offline and others joined online to present their paper.
