To prevent, the menace of ragging and maintain healthy interpersonal relations among students in the college campus, ragging is strictly forbidden in or outside the college campus. For this Purpose the Anti-Ragging Committee has been actively functioning and all the members of Anti ragging Committee are actively took efforts to maintain the calm and quite environment in college campus.
Anti-ragging committee celebrated Ant ragging week by conducting following activities
Ant-ragging committee celebrated Anti-ragging day by showing videos on Anti-ragging to First Year Degree college Learners on 12th August 2023 and to Second and Third Year Degree College Students on 14th August 2023. The aim of the activity was to create awareness about Ant-Ragging and to sensitize students about Ragging and its negative impact on mental and physical health of students.
Total 1276 students have attended this activity.
Anti-ragging committee organized Guest Lecture on topic Ragging and its Legal Aspects on 19th August 2023. The Resource person for the guest lecture was Adv. Rameshwari Rajdhar Dubey Assistant Professsor, Nalanda Law College K.G. Shah Law school , SNDT Matunga . The aim of the Guest lecture was to create awareness among students about legal aspects of ragging. The lecture was enthusiastically attended by Total 315 Students.
Anti-ragging committee organized Essay writing and Slogan writing competition on theme Anti Ragging on 17th August 2023. The aim of the activity was to create awareness among the learners about laws of the country with respect to ragging. Total 37 students participated in this competition. Anti-ragging committee organized Poster Making and Logo Designing Competition on theme Anti Ragging on 18th August 2023. The aim of the activity was to create awareness among the learners about ragging and its negative impact. Total 16 students participated in this competition. Anti-ragging committee in collaboration with Natrang Theatre Group organized a Street play based on Anti-ragging on 21st August 2023. The aim of the activity to create awareness among students about ragging. The street play discussed and portrayed the unfair practices of ragging in college by the seniors that ends up being fatal for the juniors. The Street Play was enthusiastically attended by Total approximately 200 to 400 students.
Anti-ragging committee organized Silent-Rally for degree college learners on the topic “Anti Ragging Awareness” on 23rd February 2024. The aim of the rally was to create awareness about Ant ragging. In this rally posters on Anti ragging shown to students in classroom. Total 1254 students have attended this Rally.
