On 13th February 2021, Saturday, an awareness video about TCSC – Internal Complaints Committee was played on zoom platform for all the UG & PG learners.
The video started with melancholy story of Bhanwari Devi and Kavita Srivastava, the women who gave us the Vishaka Guidelines & the employer’s duty with respect to Vishaka Guidelines were highlighted. The video explained the evolution & salient features of POSH Act, need for ICC in Higher Educational Institutes & the importance to voice sexual harassment. The video ends with displaying the Purpose, Objectives, Terminologies, Prevention and Prohibition, Redressal Penalties and Legal Charges of ICC.
The event was a huge success as we had 977 participants.
On 27th feb 2021, Saturday, Internal Complaint Committee organised a Debate competition – “UNMUTE” on the topic of “Do we need separate Sexual Harassment Laws for male students in Educational Institutes”? for all the UG learners. The debate was conducted via zoom platform. Ms. Denise D’souza, Assistant professor from BC department judged the event on the basis of Content / Communication & Argumentation. The objective of the debate competition was to raise awareness about the prevention of Sexual Harassment & to examine the opinion of Male & Female students on Sexual Harassment Laws for males.

On 13th March 2021, Saturday, Internal Complaint Committee organised a Webinar for the female Students & faculties of TCSC on the topic “WOMEN'S RIGHTS UNDER INDIAN LAW” addressed by Advocate Puneet Chaturvedi, a practicing lawyer for the last 29 years. He belongs to a family of lawyers for four generations. Mr. Puneet is a Legal Expert in different TV channels including on NDTV, CNBC Awaz
The Objective of the webinar was to raise self-esteem and self-confidence of women. Mr. Puneet gave insights with respect to Enforcement of constitutional and legal provisions, safeguarding rights of woman & safe environment that is free of sexual harassment. There were around 150 participants for the webinar.
The session was problem solving session, the students and Faculties asked their query related to women Rights in India got valued information for the same from Advocate Puneet Chaturvedi.
On 27th March 2021, Saturday, Internal Complaint Committee organised a Digital Poster making competition on the topic “Sexual Harassment Awareness”. The objective of the competition was to make students aware of Sexual harassment & check creative and artistic skills of the students. Students displayed the best of their executive side and were judged on the basis of Content & Digital Thinking.
Students from different programmes and department participated in the competition.

On 7th April 2021, Wednesday, Internal Complaint Committee organised a Quiz Competition on “POSH TRIVIA”. The Objective of the competition was to test the knowledge of the participants beyond academics (specifically Posh Act and Sexual Harassment Act). In this quiz competition 46 students from various department had participated and they enjoyed this event.
