Students’ Council started the academic year with the formation of the council. All the academic topper of the department were made part of the council as per the rules laid down by the University of Mumbai. Learners who were unwilling to be part of the council gave NOC to the next topper who became a member. Lady Representatives were nominated by the head of the institution along with the representatives from NCC, NSS, SPORTS and cultural. Once the council was formed GS was elected from among the members. The council showed lots of enthusiasm in conducting activities like Youth Parliament, LIVEMINT. Both these activities gave ample opportunity to the students to discuss debate and deliberate on issues concerning politics, environment and economic situation of the country. Two guest lectures were conducted on topics like Psychology of Happiness and Consumer Rights where learners were made aware to take care of their mental health and about their rights as a consumer. Christmas Fervour was celebrated with lots of grandeur and fun games added zing to the celebration. This year too, Council ran a social awareness campaign where the members went to each and every class of the college and made the learners aware of plastics and its harmful impact on the environment, in a creative way. They also urged the students to stop using plastic bottle and to carry water in steel bottle. The year ended by selecting Best Boy and Best Girl of the year.
GUEST LECTURE ON PSYCHOLOGY OF HAPPINESS 26TH July, 2023
Guest lecture on Psychology of Happiness was organised on 26th July, 2023 by Students Council. Dr Kiran Shandilya, Psychiatrist, was invited to talk on mental health and happiness. The event was attended by 313 students. The students listened intently to the lecture and openly discussed their personal problems and sought help from the doctor.
COOKIE AND CHOCOLATE DAY
On 2nd August 2024, the Student Council orchestrated a delightful celebration, "Chocolates and Cookies Day." 11 students came together to display their culinary skills with chocolates in 4 stalls, transforming the campus into a delectable haven. Through this event, the Student Council successfully created an inclusive and enjoyable atmosphere, bringing the entire student body together in the spirit of unity and celebration.

YOUTH PARLIAMENT – I
Youth Parliament session was convened on 28th August, 2023. It was organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, under TARUN SABHA. Registration for participation in this event was administered by the Ministry. All the procedure laid by the Ministry was meticulously adhered while conducting the Parliament. The entire proceedings were captured on video and was uploaded in the portal of the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs.
63 students actively participated in debates concerning topics of national significance. The topics for debate were:

LIVEMINT –
Livemint was conducted on 3rd Nov, 2023 at 10 am. The event was participated by 46 students. Livemint is a stimulating intellectual forum where current affairs from economics, politics, technology, Environment, social issues, and entertainment are discussed and deliberated on. Participants analysed economic trends, exploring their global impact and implications across sectors. Political Discussions pondered on recent geopolitical developments, fostering a deeper understanding of international relations. Technology sessions focused on emerging innovations, artificial intelligence, and societal consequences. Environmental talks highlighted climate change and sustainable practices.
5. MR & MS THAKUR –
On 9th December, 2023, Mr. and Miss Thakur competition took place in the college auditorium. Each department forwarded the name of Mr. and Miss Fresher, from whom the Mr. and Miss Thakur were chosen. This title holds significant esteem within the college and the winners are honoured on the TRISHNA platform by the college trustees.
Alumni and former LR members of the college, Ms. Divya Deora and Ms. Khushali Sanghvi, were invited to judge the event.

6. CHRISTMAS FERVOUR –
On 16th December, the Students' Council conducted a jubilant Christmas celebration, transforming the campus into a festive wonderland. Many stalls, curated by students, showcased delectable treats and handmade crafts. The highlight was a lively games stall featuring engaging activities like the Glass Pyramid and Dart Board. Adding to the festive ambiance, a beautifully decorated Christmas tree graced the surroundings. The climax of the event was the cake-cutting ceremony by Principal Ma'am, symbolizing unity and joy. The Students' Council was successful in spreading Christmas fervour across the campus.
7. TRADITIONAL DAY –
Traditional Day was celebrated on 10th January, 2024. On the same day college also had FUN AND FAIR. Students, both boys and girls dressed in their traditional best immersed themselves in celebration with lots of enthusiasm.
8. PLASTIC AWARENESS DRIVE –
The Students’ Council campaigned for PLASTIC FREE CAMPUS spanning 13th to 16th January, 2024, with the primary objective of raising awareness among students regarding the negative impact of plastic on the environment. In the campaign, plastic water bottles were targeted and students were encouraged to exchange their usage in favor of non-plastic alternatives. This initiative aimed to dissuade students from purchasing water packaged in single-use plastic containers, thereby mitigating the amount of plastic waste. Students were made aware about the health hazards caused by microplastics present in the plastic bottles. They were also made aware through posters and creative means about the accumulation of plastics in recnt times and their harmful effect on environment.
9. GUEST LECTURE ON CONSUMER RIGHTS
Guest lecture on CONSUMER RIGHTS was organised on 29th January, 2024. Dr Suresh Shah was invited to speak. He was an exponent in the area and made students aware about their rights as a consumer. They were also briefed about various law protecting consumer. 280 students attended the lecture and were benefited from the talks.
10. YOUTH PARLIAMENT – II
Building on the students’ enthusiasm in the first Youth parliament, second one was conducted on 1st February, 2024. A balanced debate between the ruling and the opposition parties took place. Both the parties presented their perspectives in an engaging debate. The ruling party presented arguments in favour, while the opposition countered with their points. There were 145 enthusiastic participants in the event who debated for and against the topic. There were 83 audiences who witnessed the event.
As the Youth Parliament 2024 drew to a close, trophies were awarded to eminent speakers for their exceptional contributions.

Prajatantra 2023 is a National Youth Festival organised at all India level in which finalist are invited to New Delhi for the competition. The competition takes place in following categories:

12. BEST BOY AND BEST GIRL
BEST BOY And BEST GIRL of the college was selected by team of judges from different colleges. Students Council conducted the event on 4th April, 2024. Dr Anil Singh, Principal, Thakur RamNarayan Law College, Dr Kamal Shah, Associate Prof, Thakur engineering college and P Kakkad, Vice Principal, Thakur Architecture College were invited to judge the event.
