Ganesh Chaturthi Report
Date: 31st August, 2022
Venue: Thakur College of Science and Commerce
Summary of the Event:-
One of the widely celebrated festivals of India, Ganesh Chaturthi, is the quintessence of bringing people together. The festival rejuvenates our nation’s spirit as a whole. Bappa resides in every household in a distinctly different form; demonstrating likewise the never-ending affection people retain for Lord Ganesha every perennial year. On the 31st of August, Thakur College of Science and Commerce found itself at the opulence of encompassing Ganpati Bappa once again, sustaining the annual tradition led by the remarkable college.
The extravaganza was confined for two luminously radiant days. Beloved Bappa was housed on-campus, with students, parents, faculty, trustees and stakeholders of TCSC filtering in to favour His blessings at every hour. The evenings rang resonant with zealous aartis, and later with joyous outcries of ‘Ganpati Bappa Morya’. The blessed, albeit short-term duration, was sufficed to the brim with sacred chants and mantras that left all hearts emanating rejuvenated devotion.
With that came the resounding conclusion of the festive days that will be eternally etched into everyone’s hearts. Lord Ganesha embraced us with a triumphant clang, dispensed His blessings onto everyone who implored to His divine idol, and then bid an equally heartfelt farewell to His devotees. Ganesh Chaturthi ‘22 ended on an earnest note, with a promise of an equally ardent celebration for the ensuing year.
