Trishna 2019-2020

The much-awaited Annual Day of Thakur College of Science and Commerce “Trishna" was held on 14 December, 2019 with approximately eight thousand people witnessing the power packed event including students of TCSC, Management, College Staff, Alumni and PTA members. All Departments of TCSC performed zealously in a bid to lift the coveted “Best Department” Trophy in an ultimate battle of cultural celebrations.

Indian Emperors and Nobles were the contingent codes given to the departments as Indian culture was impeccably showcased through various performances. With a theme encouraging storylines, a fusion of hip-hop and cultural Indian dance forms took the evening back to the realm of Castles and Kingdoms and of Kings and Queens. The evening turned into an extravagant affair with enthusiastic performances like Dance, Fashion Show and singing lined up one after the other. A sparkling Bridal Fashion Show was held amid much grandeur showcasing a perfect blend of glamour and rich Indian cultural heritage.

Contingent Maharaja Ranjeet Singh (B.Sc.-I.T.) emerged as the Winner, followed by Shivaji Maharaj (B.Sc.-C.S) at the Second place and Raja Krishnadevrai (B.Sc.-Pure Science) at the Third place. Abhishek Nair and Shweta Maurya were crowned as Mr. and Miss Thakur for the year 2019-2020. As the performances passed over an electrifying mood to the audience, the energy was only rising as the end of the departmental performances saw the crowds gather and shout in a cacophonic tone as DJ Mari Ferrari took over and set the night ablaze. Shades of joy, euphoria and happiness yet again exemplified what Trishna means to the TCSC fraternity. It's much more than just an annual event, it's to be treasured as special moments.
