Trishna 2020-2021

'The Annual Day of Thakur College of Science & 'Commerce (Autonomous) - 'Trishna' was held on 30 January: 2021 with the traditional lighting of the lamp followed by an opening dance performance. The fest "Was celebrated with high spirits and participation of energetic, enthusiastic and excited students of TCSC wing to lift the coveted Best Department Trophy. All the Departments performing at Trishna pursued their burning desire to nurture a diverse and avant-garde-space to represent their art and talent.

Original recitations of poetry and prose by young talented students were profoundly appreciated and enjoyed by all. The stage then turned into a kaleidoscopic show of brightness. Colourful-costumes and endless music as the impressive line-up of artists from different departments, performed live on stage. Eminent Principals from Mumbai were invited to grace the occasion and to judge the electrifying performances.

“Contingent Street fighter (Junior College-Commerce) emerged as the winner, followed by Final Fantasy (B.Sc. I.T and B.Sc- D.S) at the Second Place and GTA (B.M.M.) at the Third Place. The day-was drawing to a close with participants eagerly awaiting the results of Mr. and Miss Thakur. Yash Mishra and Jyoti Choudhary were crowned as Mr. and Miss Thakur for the year 2020-2021 for their talent, confidence, eloquence and style. DJ Subuhi took over the stage electrifying the auditorium and giving a befitting end to the annual cultural fest.

Trishna has been evolving to reverberate all that it has become today. The euphoria of Trishna was amazing and we wouldn't expect anything less as exemplified with its high energy dynamic performances, eclectic mix -of music: experiences, entertainment and celebrations to augment our experiential standards.
