Name Of The Event : BEACH CLEANING
Date: 05th JUNE 2023
Venue : “AKSHA BEACH”

Details : This event was organized by Thakur college NCC unit in order to create awareness about the important of cleanliness to the people, Cadets Cleaned ‘AKSHA BEACH’. Total of Twenty cadets participated in this event. The event was an success as we were able to motivate some of the locals to join us in this event and help us with the cleanliness drive. Name of The Event: POSTER MAKING COMPETITION
Date: 12th JUNE 2023
Venue: THAKUR COLLEGE OF SCIENCE AND COMMERCE

Details: This event was organized by Thakur College NCC unit. Theme of competition was "World Ocean Day, Save Water and social media addiction”. Competition was held to identify Cadet’s artistic skills and to make them stand their moral responsibility towards the nature and how to use natural resources efficiently without harming the nature. Thirteen cadets participated in this competition. Below you can have a proper look to the event: -
Name of The Event: INTERNATIONAL YOGA COMPETITION
Date: 21st JUNE 2023
Venue: THAKUR COLLEGE OF SCIENCE AND COMMERCE

Details: This event was organized by Thakur College NCC unit along with “Shri Ambika Yoga Kutir” at Thakur College Auditorium. The theme of 8th International Yoga Day was “Yoga for Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” also known as “Yoga for the welfare of All as world-One Family. The Cadets were told about the importance of yoga in their life.

Name of The Event : AMARKANTH JHA BLOOD DONATION CAMP

Venue : ACHARYA DEV VIDYA MANDIR , BORIVALI (WEST)

Details : Amarkanth Jha Blood Donation camp was celebrated by Thakur College of science and commerce NCC unit at Acharya Dev Vidiya Mandir, Borivali (West). Event was conducted by Amarkanth Jha foundation on 30th June, 2023.Cadets get know importance of blood donation and how they can save many lives by donating their blood.

Name of The Event : PAPER BAG MAKING EVENT
Date : 6th July 2023
Venue : THAKUR COLLEGE OF SCIENCE AND COMMERCE

Details : Paper Bag Making event was organized by Thakur College NCC unit.500+ paper bags to reduce the consumption of plastic bags. The paper bags were also distributed to the vendors to spread the awareness of avoiding plastic bag.

Details: Paper Bag Distribution this event was organized by Thakur College NCC unit. 15 cadets participated in this event. They distributed the paper bag more then 300+ and spread the awareness to reduce the plastic bag and switch to paper bag. Images:-
Name of The Event: BLOOD DONATION CAMP
Date: 16TH AND 17TH July 2023
Venue: LIONS CLUB MUMBAI
No. of Participants: 30
Details: Blood Donation Camp was organized by Thakur college of science and commerce and NSS unit in collaboration with Lions club Mumbai and Nair hospital Blood bank 30 cadets participate in this event and they learned about the importance of blood donation and how it also benefits both the donor and receiver.

Name of The Event: KARGIL VIJAY DIWAS
Date: 26TH July 2023
Venue: TCSC & TCET
No. of Participants: 28
Details: Kargil Vijay Diwas was organized by the Thakur college NCC unit along with the college of Engineering and Technology at Engineering ground. The honourable chief guest LT.CDR.BIJAY NAIR (RETD).Along with ANO Maj. N.D. Chaudhari, CDR Vijay Pratap Singh was present in the program. Guard of honor was presented by the cadets followed by an interactive session with chief guest as a speaker. The cadets were told about the heroic goods during the war the cadets were also told about future opportunity and how they could improve themselves for their future. In this event 28 cadets participated.

Name of The Event: TREE PLANTATION
Date: 27TH August 2023
Venue: MANORI ISLAND & GAGANGIRI MAHARAJ ASHRAM
No. of Participants: 15 CADETS
Details: Tree Plantation was organized by Thakur college NSS unit. The NCC unit of Thakur College participated in this event at Manori Island with 15 cadets. 200+ saplings were planted in the radius of 3Km.The cadets also visited Gagangiri Maharaj Ashram and had a interactive session about the event.

Details: Puneet Sagar Abhiyan the ‘Beach Cleaning’ event was organized by Thakur college NCC unit at MARVE BEACH under puneet sagar abhiyan in order to create awareness about cleanliness and its important on 8th September, 2023.

Name of The Event: RANN HATH SAINIK
Date: 23rd September 2023
Venue: JAI HIND COLLEGE CHURCHGATE
No. of Participants : 13 CADETS
Details: Rann Hath Sainik was organized by Anam Prem (NGO) on 23rd September 2023. Thirteen NCC cadets volunteered for this event. Cadets gave the guard of honor to chief guest and shok salami to the matyrs at Jai Hind College Auditorium at Churchgate and remember the soldier’s selfless deeds and sacrifice made by them and their families on.

Name of The Event: GANPATI VISARJAN TRAFFIC CONTROL
Date: 28TH September2023
Venue: SAMTA NAGAR POLICE STATION
No. of Participants: 17 CADETS
Details: Ganpati Visarjan traffic control duty was done by Thakur college NCC unit at the Samta Nagar police station. The cadets helped traffic police to clear the traffic and also in crowd handling at visarjan areas.11 Boys Cadet and 6 Girls Cadet took part in the event.

Name of The Event : AREA CLEANING ACTIVITY
Date : 1st October 2023
Venue: DAMU NAGAR NALANDA , KANDIVALI(E)
No. of Participants: 47 CADETS
Details: Area Cleaning Activity was done by Thakur college of science and commerce NCC unit with Brihanmumbai Muncipal Corporation Kandivali (East). 20 Boys cadet and 27 girls cadet were divided in group. The activity took place at Damu nagar Nalanda, Kandivali (East) and near Akruli Metro station on 1st October 2023.

Name of The Event: ARMY DAY
Date: 15TH January 2024
Venue: TCSC & TCET
No. of Participants: 47 CADETS
Details: Army Day was celebrated by the NCC cadets on 15th January, 2024. The Chief Guest for the event was Maj. Pawan Kumar Thapliyal Cadets of the unit presented Guard of Honour to the Chief Guest. Shok Salami was also performed to pay condolences to Brave Warriors who laid down their Life for the Motherland. Guards were commanded by CJUO Pardumnaryan Singh, SGT Raj Gupta, LCPL Harivansh parsad Gupta, CPL Varun Rathod. This was followed by an enthusiastic talk by Maj. Pawan Kumar Thapliyal who extensively interacted with the cadets. He shared about his experiences in army as well as academics which was highly motivating for the cadets. He also encouraged the cadets to believe in themselves and spoke about the significance of fitness, positive attitude, sense of humour, team work and emotional quotient. Total 47 cadets of two colleges participated in this event.
