18th Aavishkar Intercollegiate Research Convention (Zonal Round)
Thakur College of Science & Commerce in collaboration with University of Mumbai, Department of Students Development hosted 18th Aavishkar: Intercollegiate Research Convention (Zonal Round) for Zone III on 12th December, 2023.
The event was marked by presence of the eminent guests and enthusiastic participation by the registered participants from all the colleges of University of Mumbai from zone III (Bandra to Dahisar) participated in the convention.
The inauguration ceremony of the event was engraced as the Chief Guest by Prof. Dr. Siddhivinayak Barve, Director, Kelkar Education Trust, Scientific Research Centre, Mithagar, Mulund (East), Mumbai. The Guest of Honour for ceremony was Dr. Sunil Patil, Director, Department of Students Development, University of Mumbai. Other esteemed officials Minakshi Gurav, OSD, Aavishkar, University of Mumbai, Dr. Milind Kulkarni, Coordinator, Zone III, Dr. Alok Hardikar, Co-coordinator also graced the occasion by their presence for the convention.
Total number of projects exhibited in the convention were 232, under six different categories and three different levels. The projects were evaluated by 32 juries, who were expert in their respective subject areas. The event was concluded after announcement of the selected projects for the final round of the Aavishkar 2023-24.
Following projects received Appreciation Merit Certificate at the 18th Aavishkar: Intercollegiate Research Convention at the Zonal Round.
