Orientation Session was organised on the Zoom Platform on 09 th November, 2020 to brief the students about Ideas, Business Opportunities and Entrepreneurship. Success Stories of the Alumni were shared to build motivation and enthusiasm for initiating business activities among the learners.
An Interactive Online Session was organised on 28 th October, 2020 on the topic, “Youth to Master Family Business”. The Resource Person, Mr. Naren Thakkar, M.D., Thakkar Metals and Mentor from S.P. Jain Institute of Management Studies briefed the students on mastering their Family Business, ensuring sustainable business growth, tips on successful steering through the business ecosystem and capitalising on the ability to innovate. This motivational session was attended by 240 learners.
Three (03) Days Virtual Boot Camp was organised on 4 th , 5 th and 6 th February, 2021 on the theme “Actionable Entrepreneurship Program” in association with Navayuvak Entrepreneurs. This Boot Camp aimed to inculcate Entrepreneurial Qualities and Business Idea Development in the Ecosystem. This initiative provided the aspiring entrepreneurs a platform to realize their Start-up dream. On Day 1, Mr. Gaurav Mishra, Founder, Navayuvak Enterpreneurs and Karmaveer Chakra Awardee instituted by UN and ICongo, discussed the Lean Canvas Model to prepare entrepreneur focused business plans. On Day 2, Mr. Chirag Dodiya Founder and CEO - Lifestack Technologies and Mentor at Navayuvak Entrepreneurs spoke on the essential Entrepreneurial Qualities that nurture success. And on the last day of the Boot Camp, Mr. Mahavir Pratap Sharma, Mentor at Navyuvak Entrepreneurs explained the Scenario of Indian Ecosystem in the new Normal. Around 180 learners attended this virtual workshop and discussed their Business ideas with the Resource Persons.
Inter-Collegiate webinar was organised on 10 th April, 2021 on the topic “Making Business Plans that Always Succeed”. The Resource Persons invited for the session were Ms. Sujata Roy, Mentor and Faculty at All India Institute of Family Managed Business and Mr. Siddhant Dugar, Entrepreneur and Mentor. They gave a detailed explanation to the participants regarding the making of an effective Business Plan and the procedure to conduct feasibility analysis.
Leaners interested in pursuing business opportunities were mentored on a regular basis regarding Business Environmental Analysis and were linked with successful mentors like Mr. Vikram Chheda, Co-founder, Custom Holidays, Mr. Siddhant Dugar, CEO, Designer Exports and Mr. Joshua Salin, Founder, Hobby Ideas.
Business Plan Competition was organised online on 15 th April, 2020. Venture Capitalists Team of All India Institute of Family Managed Business (A.I.F.M.B.) and Mr. Siddhant Dugar, CEO, Designer Exports and Mentor evaluated and judged the Business Plans mailed by the young budding entrepreneurial teams. Total 23 entries were received by the E-Cell and the Five Most Feasible Business Plans were selected for further mentorship.
Webinar on “Start-up Opportunities in Financial Services” was organised on 7 th May, 2021 in association with the Training and Placement Cell of TCSC. The Mentor for the session was Business Coach Mr. Sudhir Sakpal, Director and Founder, Sparrow’s Sprout, Institute for Business Solutions. This session was a personal mentorship program for learners interested to explore business opportunities in the Financial Service Sector. The mentorship program was undertaken by 10 budding entrepreneurs.
