Ideabaaz Dangal

E-Cell Prerna, in collaboration with the departments of BAMMC, BIM, and BMS, organised “Ideabaaz Dangal” on 30th July 2025 at the Auditorium from 10 a.m. onwards, aimed to promote entrepreneurial spirit and innovation among learners. M/s Kuberan’s Startup Factory served as a resource person, guiding students on startup development and idea pitching. The session encouraged learners to think creatively and pursue their entrepreneurial aspirations. The learners from different disciplines presented their ideas. The learners were provided a real life experience of venture capital financing of real life experience in a reality show of IDEABAAZ held in a studio on 11thSep 2025

                   


Career Guidance & Skill Development Workshops

The Career Guidance & Skill Development Workshop was facilitated by the E-Cell in collaboration with GradGuru, E-Cell IIT Hyderabad, and IPA-SF on 23rd August 2025 at 5:30 p.m.(online), with 480 learners in attendance. The session aimed to provide insights into career pathways and essential skill development to help learners become job-ready. Key topics covered included career and industry insights, resume building and ATS optimisation, interview preparation, and placement strategies. The workshop effectively guided students in planning their careers and enhancing their employability skills. All participants received ISO-certified participation certificates, marking their active engagement in the session.


                                                           

Orientation workshop

An orientation workshop was organised  on 22nd August 2025 at 10:30 a.m., with the participation of 60 students. With an objective of  encouraging and nurturing entrepreneurial thinking among learners. Participants were briefed about the Futurepreneurs Club, E Cell and  TCSC Incubation Centre . The learners were explained the benefits they will be enjoying 

.            


Guest Lecture

The Entrepreneurship Cell (E-Cell) organised a guest lecture on “Starting Up Your Dreams (Guidance from an Entrepreneur)” on 24th September 2025 at 9:30 a.m. in the Seminar Hall, with the participation of 200 learners of Degree College. The session featured Mr Gaurav Sharma, Social Activist, Entrepreneur, and Founder of Revoluters Foundation and The Language Bureau, as the resource person. He shared his entrepreneurial journey, offered insights on startup development, and inspired students to pursue their ideas with confidence. The seminar effectively motivated learners to think innovatively and take meaningful steps toward their entrepreneurial goals  


    



Startup Sutra

The Entrepreneurship Cell, in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Borivli, RI District 3141, organised a Comprehensive Entrepreneurship Development Workshop on 16th and 17th August 2025 at Hotel Garden Grove, Borivali (W). The workshop aimed to equip young learners and graduates with essential entrepreneurial skills and business knowledge. With 32 participants per batch and a total duration of 3,500 minutes, the training focused on business selection, investment planning, marketing strategies, people management, and profit-making techniques. The top two participants from each batch were offered a chance to visit Singapore to explore global markets. The initiative encouraged students to move from job-seeking to job creation, promoting innovation and self-reliance. Adityaraj Singh qualified to be the winner of the event through his excellent skills.



An Ideation Competition was organized on 12th November 2025 at 10:00 AM onwards in the Presentation Room. The event aimed to encourage innovative thinking and entrepreneurial ideas among the learners. Mr. Gaurav Sharma, an entrepreneur, served as the resource person and judge for the event and shared valuable insights on entrepreneurship and idea development. A total of 34 learners participated in the competition and presented their ideas enthusiastically, making the session engaging and informative.

A “Let’s Startup” event was organized on 21st November 2025 at 10:00 AM onwards in the Seminar Hall. The session was conducted by Mr. Rahul Kulkarni, entrepreneur and Founder of Goalseek Solutions, who served as the resource person for the programme.

During the session, he shared valuable insights on entrepreneurship, startup culture, and the importance of innovation and determination in building a successful venture. The talk encouraged learners to think creatively, identify opportunities, and develop entrepreneurial skills. A total of 104 learners attended the event, making the session informative and inspiring for those interested in exploring startup opportunities and entrepreneurship.



An Ideation Competition for Computer Science learners was organized on 8th December 2025 at 11:00 AM onwards in the Presentation Room. The event aimed to encourage creative thinking and innovation among the learners. A total of 10 learners, forming 5 teams, participated in the competition and presented their ideas enthusiastically. The activity provided a platform for learners to collaborate, share innovative concepts, and enhance their problem-solving and presentation skills.

An Ideation Competition for Biotechnology learners on Entrepreneurship was organized on 10th December 2025 at 11:00 AM onwards in the Presentation Room. The event aimed to encourage innovative thinking and entrepreneurial skills among the learners. A total of 24 learners participated in the competition and presented their ideas enthusiastically. The activity provided a platform for learners to share creative business concepts, discuss innovative solutions, and enhance their presentation and problem-solving skills.

An Ideation Competition for B.Sc. General Science learners was conducted on 3rd February 2026 at 10:30 AM onwards in the Presentation Room. The event aimed to encourage creative thinking, innovation, and problem-solving among the learners. A total of 10 Team(s) participated in the competition and presented their ideas enthusiastically. The session provided a platform for learners to share innovative concepts, discuss scientific perspectives, and engage in meaningful academic interaction.

          

A Career Guidance Event was organized in the Seminar Hall on 23rd February 2026 and 26th February 2026, starting from 8:00 AM onwards. The session was conducted by the resource persons Mr. Bhanu Pratap Singh and Mr. Utkarsh Upadhyaya, who provided valuable guidance on career planning, skill development, and opportunities after graduation.

 The session was interactive and helped learners understand how to choose suitable career paths and prepare for future professional challenges. Around 190 learners participated on each day, (total 380 learners) making the programme informative and beneficial for all attendees.

                                                                                                                                     


E Cell Prerna in association with Ideabaaz had launched a 30 hours Co Curricular course having its own Board of Studies. The learners are provided practical based lectures of 30 hrs along with presentation of their ideas, pitching sessions and planned to be of 3 phases of 30 hours each for making an entrepreneur of national level.



Student Achievements

Adityaraj Singh(FYBAF) and Roshan Batham (TYBIM) had won first prizes in 2 different sessions of Start UP Sutra, an entrepreneurial competition organised by Rotary Club of Borivali West.

The following learners have launched their Start Up ventures with other cofounders All are bootstrap Start Ups. Our incubation centre is playing a leading role in mentoring and providing networking support.


  1. Dhruvi Bikhwal (TYBIM) is the founder of Avaya Silvers in which she designs and manufactures silver jewellery, her sister being the other cofounder. 


  1. Aman Bhuria (TYBIM) is the cofounder of the start up MAID HAI, in which they are providing maid servant services on a monthly contractual basis. 


  1. Sanskar Singh (SYBIM), is the founder of Power Bond, manufacturing industrial adhesives and having future plans to expand into retail sector.


  1. Rohit Kadam (FYBMS) is the founder of  Christa Cars, a car rental business catering to IT employees , managing with a fleet of 25 cars.


  1. Adityaraj Singh (FYBAF), founder of MopMist has been into manufacturing of different varieties of floor cleaners, mainly catering to restaurants and small hotels.


  1. Satyam Tiwari (BAF), is the founder of The Brahmann Store , designing and printing of custom made T shirts being the  uniqueness of products.


  1. Mrunal Sardal (TYBMS) and Parina Bhagat (TYBMM), are the founders of  “दो Glass.”, an unique concept of providing freshly prepared Indianised beverages. So far their business model had revolved around events.


  1. Atharva Goradia (ex student) had founded Duopoly Events Private Ltd. which is managing prime events in the sporting arena in Mumbai. Chris Shah (TYBMS) have teamed up to provide the operational support
